Changing the needle color was the hardest part I think. Trying to get the color right and paint on the back of them. They scratch easily too! It looks much better than the all blue I had, the pictures just don't do justice. I also wanted to do a better job I did a lazy job with the old blue ones.

You can get Neo-4 LEDs for your hvac screen. Neo-3 for the buttons on it (reset/mode, recirc, defrost, and the 3 knobs.). All can be found at LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

Backlighting yes! The actual ARROWS that light up when you select something, no.

I thought I would post some pics so people can see what the HVAC controls look like, you can change the back lighting pretty easily. For the arrows you will need to solder LED's one for each arrow. I changed up the colors did the A/C blue, the defrost red etc.
In the last pic you can see the top LED was replace and you can see the
NeoWedge poking through. I used 3 mm LED's for the arrows.
Also in the last pic you can see the spring that is in the center of the control use caution when taking this apart you could lost the spring and pin that sits on it.

When changing from the blue to white I went with the hight power I got rid of allot of blue I still have a bit of it around but think the white loos better than all that blue I had. Not every mod is good and some take some tweaking hope that people see this and get creative and share their ideas.

Nope! The 4th gen gauges don't use twist in bulbs. I do however do this as a business! Satisfaction guaranteed
