Doing my Inner and Outter TRE's; Need Input

I've read Sponges thread and watched the SafetyDang video and was just wondering if a 12 inch crescent wrench, set of 12 inch channel locks, and a 14 inch pipe wrench would cover most of the work?

I don't really want to bother buying those huge wrenches just to use them one time. I'm on a pretty tight budget right now since my wife and I adopted our nephew after his dads passing.

I don't recall exactly... But I think I changed my inners with a pipe wrench and channel locks. Mine weren't overly tight, though.

You may be able to get away with one or the other, as well.

I live in the south where rust is not an issue, I may hit it with some pb just in case but just wanted to make sure those tools would get the job done.

Add a hammer and a flat head screwdriver for the hold washers and u should be good. Easy job. Something to replace the boot rings also but I just used some stainless steel pipe clamps

There shouldn't be any rust to contend with inside the boot.

I used a crescent wrench and pipe wrench. Kicked the hell out of the pipe wrench. Tried whacking it with a hammer but the foot power worked much better. Just be careful you don't kick it off the jack stands.

Appreciate the help, fellas. I'll likely end up using some big ass zip ties in place of the larger boot clamps.

Napa sells the replacement boot clamps and they are pretty cheap
