Ducmonsta, would you consider linking your pictures differently? The way they are embedded in the post attaches them, i think it resizes the photos so they are smaller, but, the real problem for me is that you can't quote the picture and reply to it, so for your picture of the red for instance, i had to save it, then i uploaded it to my photo bucket gallery, and then i linked it from mine. Make sense? What photo storage place are you using?

Also, you asked how to link to a certain post. Find the post you want and click the little link that says (perma link) in the top right corner of the post, then copy that url from your browser.

For those that want to know. These are the color shift halos. They are RGB (red green blue) led's. The following video shows how many choices you have in the color. I really only wanted them to match the HID's I would have installed and amber for parking lights. With these halos, you can dial in EXACTLY what color hue you're looking for. These ARE THE SH!T.

The control box you see on the side of the box actually shows what your halos are doing. And there's a infrared remote to go with it!

I decided to go with KMC's Skitch wheel in a 18x8. They did not have it in a 9 inch wide. So I had to use Spidertrax wheel spacers. I fell in love with the wheel and was determined to use this wheel.

Would I have to use spacers if I go with the 18's?

I don't completely understand the use/need for spacers. I was considering 20's but looks like I will be using a lot of sidewall real rubber.

Now I want to go with either 17's (like you saw in my other post) or 18's like yours.

You probably won't have to if you go with the +15. Its really close to the control arms. I opted to use the spacers for looks.

Sorry, +15 is in reference to the offset. Realistically, we need a negative offset. But these wheels are not available in any negative offset, hence the spacers. I hope this helps. I had these shipped unfinished. I assume if you paid for powder coating, shipping packaging would be different.

What the? Tapatalk won't upload the photo. Anyway, no big deal. It was just a pick of the headlights.

However, I have installed the Wired HDH system, and it is well worth the money. Well, the group price of $250. It would be hard to justify the $420 retail price. I've also got 2 Wired Wagon relay/fuse boxes coming too! The Painless system is nice but not everything I needed in one box.

I'll post pics of the Wired HDH panel mounted to the flip up cubby door tomorrow.

It's the aux fuse box at the bottom of the page. It will have 5 complete circuits with 30 amp relays. So, just run power from relay to whatever and the connect switch. Genius, really. Never have to tap off the battery again. Well, at least for things that are rated 30 amps or less.

The crossmember system that Shrock came up with is actually really nice. Very precise.

Now for the Wired HDH system. I originally was considering the A pillar for the switch location. Then, I thought, what happens if that air bag actually has to go off. I might end up eating the switch panel. I know, that's probably the least of my worries, but still.
Then I was thinking the visor might be a pretty cool location. But I couldn't figure out a way to hide the wiring well enough. You'll see the ribbon connector in this pic. There was simply no way to hide that into the visor itself.



So the final location ended up being the little cubby door that flips up.

The Wired HDH system is really nice. It's very self explanatory when it comes to wiring. I hid the main module under the driver's seat. Pre-wired eight wires to go into the engine bay. They will connect to two of the Wired Wagon relay boxes. Each relay box has 5 circuits, each with its own power lead. So I needed two of them for a total of 10. The Wired HDH system has switches for 8.
If you recall, I already have 6 switches on my dash next to the head unit.


I guess you could say I've got a thing for switches. Maybe not has bad as Jango does, but I'll take the close second!

So far, switches will be for:
DASH
40" SR Rigid
2x6" SR Rigid for back up
Train horn
and a couple surprises now that Rigid has come up with the flush mount series


Wired HDH
LED scanner (I know, it's gay)
LED halos in headlights
Siren/PA system
LED rock light strips (inspired by Lima, SoCal)
LED engine bay
On board air compressor
and whatever else strikes my fancy, I guess.
