Easy Weekend Mods

It just pops in there.. just used the spare for mockup. the one I have has fiberglass all over it.

Let me see what I can get done this week to get this going. I want to change mine a bit to add USB charging port in it for a gopro on the windshield.

^^^^This. Sounds like a bad ass idea

I know this is for 4th genners but I imagine it could apply.
Magnets superglued under console lid to hold a small knife. Less than $10.

Away with the Running Boards!

Super easy weekend mod today. Only took about 20 min to take off the running boards, cut, cap and tape the wires and done! A very easy visual lift added too. Here are the simple before and after pics. :thumb3:

Giarc1234 that light setup looks awesome!

I'm new to this forum and still trying to decide what to do with my 05 Limited. I'm thinking about doing a 3" Toy Tec lift, but it is just a bit more complicated because I have to remove the factory air suspension, and XREAS. So far I've added some 1.5" spacers, and put in a Volant CAI. Both super easy mods, and I've loved how it looks and has been performing.

I've been lurking for a while now, finally found some time to set aside for some mods.

Last weekend I plastidipped the wheels on my 04 SR5, the emblems, the grill and the bottom of the bumper for an "evo" type of look that I've seen elsewhere here on the forums.

I actually look back at my truck now when I park it somewhere, I'm really happy with how the grill and wheels turned out.

I ended up breaking a stud on my front left wheel but a buddy and I fixed it relatively quickly a few days later.

I also did the HCF Delete, which gave me noticeable throttle response and I installed some Hella Sharptone horns. The horns look awesome because they peek out a bit behind the grill since they're bright yellow.

And then with stock y pipes and flowmaster SUV in stock catback, resonator cut off for side exit. Good sounds start about 1 minute. and another steep hill at 6:20

Hell yeah! these are the kind of trails I love going on. Where its more like rally cross in an suv, not to much rock climbing. Does anyone know of places like this in North Carolina or close by?

This looks like a fantastic mod. Run into any power trouble with those outlets?

So far, so good. Been running my son's portable DVD player + the normal phones on long trips. No fuses has tripped yet. Just be smart on what you're pigging backing the wiring too. Don't over do one fuse/power source.

The Homelink mirror and extra sockets were the first mods after buying mine. Best $12 spent at pick n pull thanks to that post!
