Every 2020 4Runner dealer listing: CD Player — Why?

I have yet to see a dealership listing for a 2020 4Runner that *doesn’t* tout the vehicle’s CD Player.

At all. Every single listing beams with pride that the vehicle includes a CD Player.

No MY2020 4Runner actually includes a CD Player. None of them.

Listings for 4Runners in transit posted in September? Maybe. Careless, but okay.

All 2020 4Runner listings at every dealership in the US in November?

Why? It casts the entire vehicle description into doubt. For every 2020 4Runner listed.

Because the manufacturer supplies the description. If there is a mistake in the description, then it affects all dealers.

I have yet to see one that does. Regional stupidity? Regardless, none have had a "CD player" in a decade, they are all DVD.

I’m guessing that you haven’t looked at *any* listings for 2020 4Runners. Name a region and I’ll be happy to post a listing errantly showing that the vehicle includes a CD player.

I’m excited for that 6.1” screen!

I get it—fanboys will excuse the nationwide misinformation as a corporate oversight that no one should care about. That’s okay. We’re supposed to be settling into a post-truth society.

But if you don’t think it’s happening? That’s a whole different level. Name a city with a Toyota dealership that sells 4Runners. Those are the dealers listing CD players as standard 2020 equipment. I’ll be happy to find the listing for you.
