Experience with Eibach Pro Truck lift kit?

Hit Hungry Valley OHV in Gorman CA today with a few Jeeps. Mainly green/blue trails. Eibach setup held up very well - handled everything I threw at it and it was nice to do those trails with a slight lift finally.
All in all the upgrade was as expected. Standard Eibach quality, flatter on sweeping highway sweeping turns, slightly stiffer yet progressive ride, less nose dive on braking.
Money well spent.

I ran the ToyTec Ultimate kit for about 11,000 miles and was happy with it. Seems most people are happy with their kits. They use Eibach coils on their shocks.

I been doing some research for my 5th gen on this kit. I'm really wanting to pull the trigger. I called Eibach and spoke with Dave. Told him my concerns about whether I would have a lean after install and worried about it sagging in the rear if I tow or just add extra weight in the back if I should upgrade to a heavier spring..I really did not get much help from him. No suggestions what so ever!
They are back ordered til mid Oct. There price are also higher then anyone else and + shipping to boot. I was able to have Bilsteinlifts to match autoanything. Both have Free shipping and may go with Bilsteinlifts and add the spring coils pre-installed for an extra $100.

yeah - after thinking about it for awhile, this lift seems a little sensitive for rear sagging - or being too level right off the bat (nose high) and susceptible to reverse rake pretty easily. the pro truck lift that was being discussed has now been intertwined with partial kits people are posting in here. stock spring, eibach shocks, and other springs on these shocks (this thread was about a kit, not pieces of a kit) I guess there are eibach sport shocks that have dampening adjustment but not height, and if you get the kit this thread was intended for and set the front shocks to anything over the second notch even on a v8 - they are way too high in the front - especially considering the kit intends on only a 1" rear lift.
at this point i am going to get the old man emu kit or bilstein 5100s with OME springs.

Since the front is so much higher (set on notch for 2.5" front) I was thinking about going with some 2" springs for the rear instead of these 1" eibachs. Has anyone put in 2" rear springs with this kit? if so upload pics!

The "notches" are for factory springs not for lifted springs. You might want to put them back to the lowest notch. Just sayin.

Hmm I don’t understand what you mean. They sell this as a kit. This also isn’t mentioned anywhere in the instructions for the kit.

I know, but they are designed to use the factory (stock) spring with the lift notches. If running a lift spring that is taller than factory, you should use the lowest setting.
From Wheelers site about the Eibach shocks.
Allows you to adjust the level of the spring seat to lift the front of your truck or SUV up to 2.5" by moving the spring seat on the shock body. Uses your stock coils.
Call Eibach though.

Razz, essentially if you put the 2" spring on the 2" lift mark on the strut you've lifted it around 4". With a 2" spring the zero mark would give you a 2" lift, on the 1" mark would give you a 3" lift and so on. Anything over 2" you should be running a diff drop kit as well.
12 month check in. Super happy with the Eibach kit to date on 5th gen Trail wheels running 275/65/17. Thinking of going 265/70/17 in a more aggressive tire next. Hope it all fits with this minor lift.
The kit is fantastic on streets and highways and have held up great with the mild OHV wheeling I’ve done. Quality product.

Help with eibach pro kit for 05 sport v6
Hey guys,
I am looking at lifting my 05 v6 sport 4Runner and I was originally going to go with 5100’s all around with OME 2885s in front and eibach pro rear coils (1”). I can across this kit in the process but saw that the front coils are 2.75” so I was concerned about the factory UCAs with this kit. I got In touch with wheelers and they said that it will skew the alignment and give me negative rake. Today, I got in touch with eibach and they said that it should work just fine with the factory UCA and will be fine with the cvs as well. I’m just looking for some clarification before I pull the trigger. I would like to keep the front shocks set at 0 to avoid any preload. If anyone has this kit with a v6 I would appreciate any and all info.

We've installed a bunch of these and they align fine. Additionally, I had a Gen 4 for years that was lifted the same amount in the front and it was fine from 80,000 - 160,000 miles when it was sold.
