Gas Guage USED TO go down too fast...

this is pretty nifty!!

Everyone who has a gas gauge that fluctuates every time you turn the key off then back on, i know there is a tsb for replacement of the fuel sending unit and if it continues to replace the gas needle portion of the cluster. this was a big known problem for the runners. i will check at worj today what years it applies to so this is something else for everyone to think about...

If it is a TSB, is it covered under the 300k unconditional warranty on my 99?

My has left me on the side of the road twice in the last 3 months showing between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. I tried the reset and only get beeps, not the codes shown.

problem persist and still there, please give a n update to this thread.... did fix this with the method or take it to a shop? any float changes ? or now you are counting miles on the odometer to see how far can you go without a gas station..... please take the time to tell
