Do you have a 7th injector already? I would go big injectors if you don't. Or just try tuning it with stock injectors for now.On the verge of ordering... Thinking about using this to control a 7th injector

Well the FI/C 6 will let ya do that hahaYeah, have the URD 7th kit already installed. Just want to be able to tune on the fly!
Yep it can. The guy who helped me get this all setup had a supra maf and 3" intake.Does the F/IC-6 have the capability to skew the MAF readings?
Reason why I ask is that a Supra MAF and airbox is larger and allows a bigger intake diameter than the 4Runner onr. I did a similar swap with a VAFM swap from a Supra on my Pickup. Even on that slug of a motor I picked up some pep and MPG's.
I'm never gonna have enough money to do all the mods I want to though...

I reread some of the post - I thought that the only models to have the AFR sensors were the "cali" style trucks, meaning all of the 2001-2002's, and then only the cali (dual cat, etc) 99-00's. I'm not sure about the manual vs auto, that's the first I've heard of that, but the link below does show different PN's for the cali auto's vs manuals. Seems like any of those -9000 series are AFR's.O2 Sensor Type- If you don't confirm the o2 type before instal there is a chance that you won't be able to tune the 4Runner because O2 skewing will not work. For those of you with the AFR style O2 the AEM is especially appealing when compared to the URD 7th because you can tune closed loop and part throttle boost with it.

I put a ton of research into the o2 sensor setups toyota used, that chart is 100% correctI reread some of the post - I thought that the only models to have the AFR sensors were the "cali" style trucks, meaning all of the 2001-2002's, and then only the cali (dual cat, etc) 99-00's. BTW - Computer shows up today...

It was a transition year so the Cali runners got afr and others were narrowband. Look at the chart it says 99 Cali auto is afr and 99 (assumed to be the rest is narrow band. Can you explain / elaborate a bit then on the difference on the 99-00's? Every place I have read has said AFR for the cali's, and narrowband on the fed's.
For example:
Ignore the red markups - cali says AF sensor, non says O2 sensor.

Well that's interesting. I will look at the URD site again.Ha, and my 2000 fed is narrowband... I guess that's what I was trying to get at / confirm
Sounds like boomslang has the resistor for the cam circuit in the wrong place. That's exactly what mine did while I was getting everything set for this write up. Any codes?Installed my AEM Boost/AFR guage, Boomslang harness and FIC/6 - SC has 2.1 pulley - Plugged it in and set RPM, looked around at available settings trying to get use to what I am doing. Drove around and was watching everything - didn't adjust anything. Watching AFR, at 9.7# of boost it is at 12.5 AFR on the wideband AEM guage. For fun I dumped in 2 gallons of Unleaded race gas and it will no longer ping - audible -at any RPM or throttle position and still stays at 12-13 AFR and maked GOBS more power. Just playing a bit with it seeing how to work with it.
Haven't installed the Meth injection that is sitting here yet.
However with the the AEM FIC/6 and Boomslang harness when it is cold - 29' here now - it will not start, cranks and cranks but will not start, unhook Boomslang harness and go back to normal and it fires right up, switch back and nothing. Once it warms up it starts fine with the FIC/6 hooked up......
I was thinking it just was able to adjust from where it is set and with no adjustments it should remain untouched...?
Still learning...
2000 Fed 5 speed = Narrowband
So much to learn for an old school carb/distributor guy LOL
It will start and run fine with the o2 unhooked, so that can't be it. You said its cold there today? No codes, but only when cold, was fine when 40-50'....
I metered it and was pretty sure it was in the correct position, I checked.
I will say I haven't installed or even checked to see if there is a 1K or 10K ohm resistor for the O2...... And trying to figure out the O2 on the FIC. since I have a Wideband hooked to it and the factory one is wired in... I havent messed with it enough to figure it out on the Gauge screen
Not having much time to mess with
