Good catch lol it may be confusing but that's more than I had ha-ha.Hey MTD, I think your pin for Mag style Cam 1 sensor positive input (24 pin, #5) is actually 24 Pin, #9. #5 is for the Cam 2 Sensor Positive Input, not 1. (**** THATS CONFUSING)
So everything has been running pretty good except for some sporatic afr numbers and a lean spot around 2k. Cruising down the freeway is mainly when I see it, but my runner will surge and my afr will bounce from 10ish then lean out before it normalizes. Any ideas? Vaccuum leak maybe? I'm going to disconnect the fic for a bit to try to rule that out.
Other than that I learned how little I know about tuning lol
What tune do you have on it, one you made? It sounds like it is the tune, because I have some bad cells that do the same thing which is pretty typical. Sounds like you just need to go on a tuning run with a buddy lolI figured it would bounce a bit, but it feels like it throws so much fuel it stumbles for a second. When I feel it stumble afr looks to be about 10
That's dangerous just changing values with out knowing exactly what's going on there. Go ahead and zero out all your maps. And run it that way for now until ya have time to watch the videos I am gonna post or take some time to read this and learn how to do it:All I have messed with so far is the fuel map just very basically. When I first installed it there were some random values in other maps that were throwing me off, but I think I got that taken care of. I'll look again tho to double check.
What all maps have you tuned for yours?

The links came from Google so I will update them when I get home. That write up is only half the story unfortunately. You will need to tune those "random" values on the o2 map before you really start to mess with the fuel. Otherwise the ecu will trim out the fuel you are adding.I've read this and it's what I used to put together just a quick base fuel map. The values I was referring too were in other maps that had just a couple cells with what appeared to be random values because I hadn't messed with them at all. All I did was zero them out.
The other links you posted tho didn't seem to work.
I just really need to finish this damn tutorial....
I just saw those the other day, they have quite the selection. No idea about quality though... I've never heard of them before. They've got a nice selection of 300-500 cc injectors for the 5VZ-FE engine though!
Anyone try these injectors?
LEXUS IUZ, 5VZ, 1MZ, 2JZ, 3UZ, V-6; V-8 TURBOCHARGED, SUPERCHARGED; MODIFIED, Air-Assist Fuel Injectors - Performance Fuel Injectors - OEM Fuel Injector Sets from Bosch Injectors, Siemens, Denso - Lexus ES GS LS SC Toyota Tacoma 4 Runner 5VZFE 1UZ 1M
I don't foresee going beyond the 2.1 pulley -- which ones would YOU buy here based on the assumption of a 2.1 pulley, AEM f/c, upgraded fuel pump.
The one thing I noticed here -- there is a top spacer on these and NO top spacer on the OEM 5vz injectors. What gives? Is this spacer just not used?
Question for the AEM F/IC-6 users:
Are you running the Stant 14077 170° thermostat, TRD thermostat at 160° or stock OEM t-stat?
Also, are you running the cooler IK22 plugs since you're not running the 7th injector?
I'm still considering the AEM 30-4900 Wideband Failsafe Gauge instead of the 30-4110 AEM UEGO Wideband Gauge as recommended. Just looking for feedback from those who are using it. Opinions...
