I got a chance to test my bump stops from plastics guy today and they performed amazing. I took some hits at 25-30 and did some light crawling, I can't believe the difference over stock. I did hit the gas skid with the propshaft though, but that was a pretty good ledge. Thanks again for an awesome product Plastics Guy.

if you are hitting your gas tank skid then its because your panhard bar is out of whack. I agree that these are awesome bumps but they won't help with the rear shifting so you need to address the panhard with this Panhard Correction Kit (PCK).

Thanks man, I've been meaning to get the pan hard leveling kit from eimkeith, but have been lazy. This is the first time I've really got her twisting enough to smack the tank skid, but I'm going to get the kit soon.

Similar feedback from me. Got to run many miles of fire roads at 25+ mph and the Plastics Guy bumpstops in the front and back really soaked it all up. My truck is stock height and the ride was very comfortable and controlled.

Finally I am completely caught up and have bump stops in stock ready to ship. I will be doing my best to keep stock to speed up your orders and save me from working into the wee hours of the night. its a win win, :lol:

Added support would absolutely help things out. I would prefer to adjust my design a bit to have all the support it needs built into the bump stop itself opposed to a weld on support. Easier and faster to install.

I am building a V2 currently. I have talked with [MENTION=121903]Black798[/MENTION] and [MENTION=143526]theesotericone[/MENTION] and they took the time to explain in detail exactly what they were doing at the time of the failures. After their input I am very confident that V2 base will not fail.

Dont know what to fix if you cant see the failure...

I have the materials I need ordered up for V2 and I'll have it by the end of this week.

To everyone that purchased a set of my original V1 front bump stops (with the hex shaped base):
If you break your V1 set I will replace them with a V2 set at my expense. No problems and no B.S. Other than Black798 and theesotericone, there have not been any failures at all. As both guys said they were hauling ass during the failures and its a safe bet that the higher speeds is what killed them.

V2 is built for the added abuse!!

So I cracked both of mine(V1 of course), don't really know when, might've been the spirited driving through the mountains or the heavy duty crawling I did couple weeks prior to that. Excited for the V2s.

Speaking of bumpstops. Still waiting on mine. Waiting on front LCA bumpstops and front diff bushings. Ordered before New Years. Exactly on December 31st lol.
