It's really too early to tell..!

I don't have a subwoofer and I am still planning on doing the other 3 doors and the ground in the cabin...

But lots of people have reported good things..

Dynamat Extreme is just expensive...

I got a pack off eBay for $150 and that covered the entire back and 1 passenger door

Combined Foglight & Blinker Wire Harness

chopped a 4 connection pig tail from inside the engine bay of a 4runner at the salvage yard. It's gotta be OEM.

I merged my blinker and foglight wire harnesses into one single harness.

soldered the wires, then heat shrink, then tech flex.



it had a little plug to stick it into a hole in the body so that the harness would not just dangle there. it keeps it pinned up out of the way

i had been running it with the exposed ARB turn single wires just jammed into the connection openings of the stock blinker connector.'

they would sometimes fall out but i have to say it held up pretty good but im glad i finally got this completed

Steering Wheel Replacement

swapped over to a black steering wheel thanks to [MENTION=133963]GGFerrier[/MENTION]

had to cut the connection off and solder 1 wire to change the harness over to be compatible.

JB Weld on seat mounting trim

Added some JB Weld to the back of the clips on the trim where the feet of the seats mount..

Those little plastic tabs brake off super easy, so i reinforced them a little

Lighted Safety Whip Installation

In preparation for this weekend's Oceano Dune OHV event (Pismo Beach Dunes), with the help of [MENTION=133963]GGFerrier[/MENTION] ....

we got everything put together for the red LED lighted whip.

>> installed BLUESEA fuse box in engine bay for future connections & used a OEM switch that pulls from the cigarette lighter illumination wires

BASIC PARTS NEEDED:

various gauge wire (12-14 gauge for long wire runs & 4 gauge for fuse box to battery)
heat shrink
TechFlex
OEM fog switch
bluesea fuse box
Wire strippers
butt connectors/wire connector ends
electrical tape
metal clothes hanger (fish wire through firewall)


We were concerned about the LED whip not having a good enough ground to function because of the Line-X on the CB antenna mount. So we wrapped an additional wire around the thread and ran it to ground to the body behind the tail light.

power wire was ran through the rear tail light grommet.
