leaves in hvac

Dealer changed my cabin air filter and decided to drop all the leaves on the filter directly onto the fan... now the fan buzzes like a mofo because it's pureeing all the leaves.

I had my wife use her tiny hands to reach in there and remove most of the leaves, but there's still something there.

Is there anything else I can do to remove the crap that got in there?

Sorry to hear, but the cabin filter is one of the quickest, easiest DIY.
For now, try using a just the hose portion of a vacuum (i.e., a shopvac) and see if it can be sucked out.

I did this to mine and had to use the smallest attachment for my shop vac to get them out. Next time I will be removing the filter more carefully. I guess it's nice that they gave you a free filter (lol and some new sounds to piss you off), the Toyota one was $31 from my dealer. Actually like $7 more than the engine air filter. Wtf. Hopefully you can get all of the little particles out. I knew I f'ed up so I didn't turn it on until everything was clean again.
