Would you buy it again though? Vs a Highlander
Heck yeah. I love this truck. I only wish I didn't wait so long to get one.
My kids are grown and off at college so they only ride in it a few times a year. A little stiff ride isn't a bad thing. The truck handles great for what it is. The rear bench might get annoying for any adult size passengers on long road trips.
I only said what I said because I get the feeling you're like I was - coming from a car or unibody SUV to the 4runner.. My previous daily ride (still have it) was a Volvo V70 - so "bumpy" to me might be cadillac-smooth to someone coming from, say, a jeep.
All that said, I'm ditching the 20" wheels soon and moving to 17's. At some point down the road, I'll probably rip out the X-reas and go to Bilstein shocks or something..
From my experience, the non-Limited 4runners have much different ride and that may be waht you'd want if you don't need the Limited's bells and whistles.
