Wanted to keep the factory xreas for the time being as i actually really like the ride of it coming from my bilstein’s on my trd. So i did the daystar 2.5/1.5 and it netted spot on to 2.5/1.5

Was the install of the trd pro grill super straight forward? Heard mixxed reviews for putting this on the limited and possibly needing trimming. Any thoughts?

I used an aftermarket one not the OEM but it fit perfectly from side to side. At first I was worried about it falling off but it held well for over a month in rain/90 mph freeway speeds and the car wash. The Limited grille is not as tall so it essentially is just held with the tape on top, I don't think the tape on the front touches at all.
Just went thru this myself. Decided on a wrap, turned out poor. The edges on the fog lights didnt wanna stay in form and started to lift quick. Ended up pulling all the wrap and went plastidip and very happy with the results. Had the front grill on my trd dipped for 2 years and not one issue or chip.
Could have just been a poor wrap job or cheap vinyl the guy used but i wasnt very impressed at all. Was super easy to pull all the chrome bits off and spray them off the bumper to get all edge coverage to avoid lifting/peeling of the plastidip.

Just the basic amber grille lights that fit only on the TRD grille. I liked 4 lights vs the typical 3 that comes on the Ford Raptor.

I just followed the directions with re-taping the chrome piece. The contact points on the plastic part line up differently for the limited. Refer to one of my recent posts on how to tape.

Installed the Accessorides remote start and front/rear dash cams last night.
I was surprised how easy the install was for the remote start. Was nice coming out to a warmed up car this morning.

How is the gas mileage/manners on highways? I am unsure about going with 285, need to make a decision soon.
I haven’t figured out what the gas mileage is now but it has dropped. The 285’s felt heavier but overall I am happy that I went with the bigger size. The lift did add to it driving a bit dodgy but that can be corrected with UCA’s. I have a set of Camburg with the ball joints I just haven’t had time to put them in.
