Most Miles on 1 Tank of gas?

Yup I'm starting to think that we might not have too big of a problem.

A lot of these people getting like 250 miles to the tank is driving a lot of highway.

But hte people getting less, me and you drew, are driving ALL city pretty much.

Yea i drive all city too... the other 5% is off-road 67 miles now right between 1/2 and 1/4 marks

81 miles today... gettin closer to the 1/2 tank mark... shoul i do k&n or true-flow air filter... looking for best mpg not performance boost?

Right above half way and i'm at like 75 miles. Went down from 1/4 to 1/2 raelly quick though, might be off.

Facts on 4x4 to 4x2 is you got an extra driveshaft up front and
other heavy parts slowin you down.

Aerodyamics are also a big part like when i drive my dads ford astero van its almost like a brick, a 3.0 but ive been getting to the empty line 185 miles per tank.. Didnt test out my 4x4 97 4runner sr5.

JUst filled up, on the odometer it read 303 miles on the last tank, and thats without topping off the tank.

Once agian another update, I parked on a slightly sloped downhill street for work, came back and it was back to halfway between 1/4 and 1/2 mark.

So right now I'm at like 83 miles at right above 1/2 (it went down as I drove a ltitle bit)

okay, NV and Drew... mine just hit the 1/2 tank mark... maybe a little lower... i didn't check the miles and i put in a k&n air filter tonight... so I'll check here soon and give another update

I filled up in Fort Worth yesterday and drove around Dallas a while, then back home north of Galveston.

My light is not on yet, (matter of fact it's NEVER came on, I hope it works), but I pulled in my drive with 316 miles showing,,,, and the needle is ALMOST touching the 1/4 mark.

EDIT to add.

OK,,, the light came on at 335 miles and I put 17.1 gallons in it!
I think I was gettin close.

117 miles just barely under the 1/2 tank line.... NV I really reccommend the k&n filter after i put it in at startup my truck didn't idle as high and it seemed to climb up to 3500 rpms smoother... but i also had a pretty dirty filter... Drew you might can add something ........ oh yeah Drew did you ever figure out the grill thing? (zip ties)

My air filter at the moment is almost brand new. Under 1000 miles on it, I decided I'm going to be a True Flow when I need to change my filter, need to save as much money as I can.

When I parked at my house I was at 1/4 in the tnak left at like 125 miles. 10 or so of those miles are freeway.

Yah, makes me kind of worried. I don't know what to think about my gas.

Just filled up.

First fill up was at 68838 miles for 13.8 gallon.
Drove 158.2 miles.
At 68996 miles I got 14.681 gallons.

Goes into 10.77 miles per gallon. Maybe 10 - 15 of those miles are highway. Rest are stop sign, and red light districts. I do drive kind of hard, but this tank I took it easy and slowed down. It is the cold and rainy season here in San Francisco.

This seems AWFULLY low to me? Is it normal? I have some friends who drive around the same type of miles as me in sedans reporting around 150-175 miles per tank...

Wow.. NV and Drew the needle plummeted after 1/2 tank... total= 168 miles i filled up and got 14.91 gallons in the tank w/o topping off.... I'm curious..........

Phew at first I thought I was the only one with a car drinking gas like its water.

Kind of makes me relieved. But Kregg, we got to find if this is normal or not?

question, is it cold where you live right now?

Cold??? in 'Bama HAHAHAHAHAHA wow that's a good one.... nah...just messin..... it starts out in 50s and gets up to 'aound 70s but it will warm up considerably pretty soon...
