Name these Sliders

thebwlife - You better get in while the getting is hot http://www.toyota-4runner.org/general-discussions/146625-shrockworks-summer-group-buy-2013-a.html

Group buy - 15% off.. Call them for details about the full plate.

DannyLlama - Saw you ordered sliders on the Group Buy and you have XREAS... were you able to order these with the dimple tread?...

I have 2011 limited, I ordered the TE Rocker trim (on group buy) and added a second order/request for the sliders (^as posted by TxSxBx above^) with dimple tread and XREAS compatible.

I hope so lol  or else I will have 2 set of sliders for sale.
Okki basically saved me a$$. He advised me to order the sliders with all corners having bolt on gussets. That should clear the XREAS lines.
He was kind enough to send me pictures with the difference of regular mounting points vs bolt on gussets. I will be more than happy yo forward the email to you, wuth Pauls blessings.

Did you go with their 2 piece dimple plate or just one straight across?

Will these bolt on to 2012 SR5 including dimple plates?

Yes'r. Here is a actual picture of them installed on another forum members rig. We now offer these as a standard option on our web site.

Hmm... that looks like a Trail Edition. Doesn't the SR5 require Rocker Panel trim or is it just removed. Sorry, just trying to get the right ones before I order them. They look awesome.

The sliders can be mounted on an SR5/Limited model with the SR5/Limited rocker trim removed. Our in-house rocker trim we make is simply to cover up the exposed areas after doing so, purely an aesthetic addition.

One last dumb question before I buy them. I assume as they are bolted to the frame that I can use them as Hi Jack points, correct?

Correct. These things are built to take a beating, so Hi-lift jacking just where they START getting their intended use.

I will be doing a full write up on Metal Tech's OPOR sliders in the near future. helocat and LT needed confirmation that their SR5 sliders will work for a limited with XREAS. Even though I've removed the struts/shocks of the XREAS system, the hydraulic canister is still there.

For those of you looking to install sliders that serve the purposes of a step and do NOT want to remove the factory rocker panels, I believe this is the choice for you! I will not be doing any hardcore rock crawling and I believe the loss of 2" ground clearance at the rockers is negligible. These sliders look to be my ticket.

Those are what I have on mine. They're nice and can take a beating.

Wowza!...They look like they'll be worth the wait....I'm going to give em a call Monday and get the ball rolling anyway.

They work awesome. the step is the way to go! Finished them up last night. Ordered 2/10/14 and received 6/5/14. The lowest part of the slider is even with the bottom of the frame rail.

love the look of the slee sliders, but man that price is hard to live with.

now the shrockworks look like a nice replacement for cheaper at $615.

just cant tell on the slee how those would work with the xreas system on the limited. on the shrockworks it looks like those will fit a LE with xreas, just have to remove the rocker from the LE to get them to fit it seems correct?

now if someone could build new flanges for the oem that added 1" length downward and outward that would be awesome.

edit : now for someone like me, I should be able to install these solo correct? or would it be easier to have a shop with the correct tools/equipment to install these in a few hours compared to me trying to install them over the whole weekend.
