Name these Sliders

love the look of the slee sliders, but man that price is hard to live with.

now the shrockworks look like a nice replacement for cheaper at $615.

just cant tell on the slee how those would work with the xreas system on the limited. on the shrockworks it looks like those will fit a LE with xreas, just have to remove the rocker from the LE to get them to fit it seems correct?

now if someone could build new flanges for the oem that added 1" length downward and outward that would be awesome.

edit : now for someone like me, I should be able to install these solo correct? or would it be easier to have a shop with the correct tools/equipment to install these in a few hours compared to me trying to install them over the whole weekend.

You would have to replace your trim, not sure if shrockworks trail trim fits 2014 or not.. But for sure won't fit with stock LE trim.

For instillation, it's not that complicated but will be tricky at first if you haven't done this kind of thing. Look at my thread, I have a write up of what i had to do to install on my LE with XREAS.

I've installed our trim on a 2014 limited and verified that it does fit all the same as the earlier years.

I did them solo. Couple pieces of cribbing (4x6x24) and a floor jack. Piece of cake. : The KDSS side (drivers) took me longer at roughly ~2.5 hours fuddling with the KDSS lines and getting the fuel tank strap back on, the passenger side was way easier ~1 hour.

I am guessing its for a pair (both sides).

It should be for a pair. At least is was when I ordered.

Just received my shrockworks sliders dimple thread plate powder coated. Super excited, I ordered these back in June while on deployment. Going to try and install them tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well!:banana:

Working on these sliders right now, and let me tell you this is painful, and stick nuts are hard to install. I am going to have to grind them down to fit. Anyone have some good feedback? Thanks!

Finished install a few hours ago. The worst to install was the driver side because of lines and having to unbolt 4 gas tank bolts. The strap is a pain to get back together and like others have said ensure you don't have a full tank. Will post pics later tonight.

I see your done. Looks good! Sorry I didn't get this earlier, I was installing my new coil-overs :naughty:

If you hadn't gotten an answer by now, the stick nuts are to be used where there isn't any factory threads weld to the box frame.

So you have a hole in the slider and the frame and no threads in the frame to hold the bolt. Pop off a frame plug (black plastic plug either round about the size of a silver dollar or round edge rectangle) closest to the hole that needs a nut, bend the stick nut slightly so when you insert it into the frame it will rest along the inside wall. This makes it easier to see and thread the bolt. You can mark it after you have found the length you need and trim it or just fold it over.

FYI I wish I would have painted them simply for better rust protection.
