New Vids

Love seeing a video that is family oriented. That's the only reason I bought our SR5 4x4 -- so that our family can have off-road adventures we cannot in the minivan. We are a family of six though (we have a Nissan van for longer road trips) but even with the third row, getting out to places with gear is still a challenge. But at least for now, local spots are within our grasp!

Thanks for this video -- it was great!

Hey guys. Uncleboobers and I just posted a new video highlighting our trip to Moab with our family. All activities are family oriented and tolerated. Gemini Bridges trail and Willow Springs Road out of Arches National Park. Watch our videos, subscribe and tell us what you think. Thanks for watching

Thanks Kodos. Wow, a family of 6! That would require a lot of gear. We have been traveling with our daughter for 3 years now on these long adventures. Initially, we had so much stuff packed in the 4runner I was considering buying a turtle back trailer. Then, I came back to my senses when I realized those things are 20K+. Don't get me wrong, they are beauty and luxury rolled into one but more than we need. Over time, my wife and I have really learned to downsize. I'm the kind of guy that wants to be prepared for any possible situation but I've realized that I don't have to take my entire mechanics tool box with on the trip. I think. The SR5 is a great platform. We struggled with which model to purchase initially. The TRD Pro was selling for over sticker within any reasonable driving distance, if you could find one, and most of the SR5's were spoken for when they were pulling them off the delivery truck. We bought our trail premium that was the loaner SUV with only a few thousand miles and it has been a blessing in disguise. I would have been upset if I bought the TRD Pro and ended up tossing the TRD suspension when we decided to lift our vehicle. I'm glad you liked the video. Rob will be posting his leg of the trip back home. He stopped in Ouray and we stayed in Moab quit a bit longer before traveling to Durango and taking Medano Pass over to Pueblo. Stay tuned and thanks for watching.

Been watching some of your vids. Cool to see you on here.

Uncleboobers just picked up an iKamper for his 4runner. We posted a video about the pickup, mounting and initial thoughts prior to our trip to Colorado and Utah in June. Check it out and let us know what you think.<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8xq8extuP1M" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Wheeling up at Bald Mountain near Shaver Lake, CA. Fun trail. We took a couple different routes so not sure exactly which one this would be. I know we started on the Poker Run route, then went on the route near the Tamarack side, then left the Rock Creek way.

It's a nice little town. I haven't been up there around Christmas though. I may need to check that out this year.

Yea the wife just happens to be obsessed with Xmas so it was a nice treat. I don’t remember when the tree lighting was but it was literally a “whole town” event with free hot coco for the kids and all!
