OW 2.0 2.5 owners, give your two pennies!

How much softer do you think your ride is than the real 2.5 kit? You have the same 650 pound coils up front as the OW2.0 kit. Are your SAW coils softer than the 2.0 kit's rear coils? I remember asking Andries about them and I think they were rated lighter. I imagine your ride is much more like the 2.0 kit than the 2.5.

That's a question I'm afraid I have no way of answering unless we have a OW meet and drive each others trucks.

I know Andries stops by here now and then so maybe he can offer better insight.

Awhile back on this thread I posted about bumps sounding much more harsh since I put the OW 2.0 with LR UCA on. Well I went to the dealership and they didnt have a clue so I continued to search the internet. Qjake put a video on another thread of how to install the LR UCA's and that's where I found my problem. When I put my new UCA's on I had the entire vehicle in the air and I just cranked the nut on the long frame bolt on as hard as I could with the suspension drooped. I knew nothing about putting the nut on loose and then loading and stabilizing the suspension. Today I seem to have rectified the problem, I loosened the nut, loaded and stabilized the suspension and then torqued to 85 ft/lbs. Bumps in the road are now muffled and not near as loud or harsh. The fix certainly makes me enjoy the suspension much much more now. Not 100% sure, but I don't recall seeing anything in the instructions that came with the UCA's that described the loading and stabilizing part of the suspension. Although I have been wrong before....

True. I think you created a nice hybrid version of the two kits. For strenuous off roading the larger diameter shocks would seemingly be advantageous.
