PA, CB reusing factory amp?

Hey guys, I have looked all over... Would it be possible to repurpose the OEM limited amp to power a PA speaker and bump the volume beyond what a cobra 19 can do?

I have an aftermarket sound system, and originally removed the factory amp completely. It's currently collecting dust in a spare parts bin, and would be awesome if I could repurpose it.

Also, anyone have idea of what it's specs are? I've seen speculation that it's ~20Watts...

I can't help you with the specs, but I believe you can power a PA speaker. If you have an original speaker, check the impedance(OHMS) and you should try to match the PA speaker to that. I would think you'd be safe with 4 Ohms though. I know there are powered PA speakers which would probably be simpler, albeit more expensive to use. Good luck!
