4runner mods are fine, but I noticed something else.

To start everything looks great.
I was just wondering what length your rear bump stops were?

Do you think the secondary shock up front helps all that much or do you think a bump can would be enough?

Have you jumped?
Pre bypass and post bypass install?

Minor airtime here and there, but I know the limits of the thing and have no intention of skying it. The real benefit to the secondary shocks is when running down whooped out roads. With just a coilover it tends to blow through the travel very quickly and I would find myself having to slow down quite a bit. Just by adding the secondary shock I was able to go about 15mph faster through the same section.

Good eye My dad has really gotten into turning since retiring and has shelves upon shelves of stuff he has made.

My first attempt since Woodshop in High School many moons ago:

2.0" diameter by 2" travel, just so i'm not on them all of the time.

Found out how little room there is in the 4Runner due to our recent family expansion, so enter a Yakima Space Cadet, found on CL for a mere $200 in barely used condition. Slapped it on top for a recent Big Bear trip to escape the heat at home.

Front Extended Travel Coilovers for use with the TOTAL CHAOS Upper Arms: TC5151-01

Front Secondary Bypass Shock for use with TC Hoops: PR2506-BP2P (must tell King what they are going on as it is a custom layout)

Rear 2.5" Remote Reservoir Shocks: 25001-334A (must give them length or amount of lift, they build it to your spec).

I was digging through some older pics and realized I never posted any of our trip out to Ouray Colorado in 2013 for the Annual FJ Summit. I will be headed back this year, the scenery is amazing.

Red Centa, I got it from TJM right before the started having their own logos put on the covers, circa 2012 if I had to guess. I am pretty sure they are all made in the same factory overseas just with different color fabrics and logos
It is kind of a PITA to get on the roof and mount, but they are probably all that way. So much so that I wont even consider using it for anything shorter than 3 nights, especially if it is just me. However, once it is mounted and you arrive at your destination, it is very quick to setup.
That being said, it is the most comfortable setup I have used camping. The wife especially likes it. We added an egg-crate style foam mattress topper to the mattress that it comes with and leave the sheets and sleeping bag inside when we fold it up. Of course, the downside is once it is set up, you cant drive anywhere.

Absolutely love them, first impression after I installed them was damn, this thing sounds like an electric car! That is coming from about 60% tread KM2's though. They have been on since they were released in November, so 10K miles thus far. Only dirt they have seen is Johnson Valley for KOH and a quick trip to Coyote Canyon and they performed well in those situations.

Nice. Always ran the original KO's but decided to branch out and then these came out and thought they looked great so I was thinking of putting them on my 5th Gen. Thanks for the review!

No problemo, I will try and take some more detailed pics the next time I have it on. They are definitely not cheap, although a good quality ground tent costs about what I paid for my RTT (I got lucky on a smoking deal from the MFG though).

If you were looking for a slightly more raked stance, would you consider LC coils out back? Are you still liking the SuperFlex's?

Do you ever consider running D or C load range tires? Do you feel that running E's slows the truck's performance at all?

With your tires beadlocked, what PSI are you running for high speed sections?
