Pine Barrens, NJ: Wheeling and Meet Ups

I'm always down, I live in Bucks Co, just on the otherside of the river in PA, bout an hour - hour and a half away.
 
Guys. Go straight to Atsion or batsto office. Pick up a map of legal trails and ask the ranger for the laws. Simple as that. I would go but blew my tranny last time I went :(
 
Wharton/Rausch

Hey Guys,

Newb here, just picked up a 4runner 2 months ago and would love to hit Wharton or Rausch with some T4Rs.

I'm in Delco so I am "close" to both :rockon:
 
Count me in I'm in jersey just across from Philly. :lookout:

I went to Atsion Ranger station a couple months ago. They said any road that isn't marked closed is fair game.

So I found a dirt road/ trail down the road and I just started exploring for a couple hours. I didn't find anything challenging except a few mud pits.

I'm not sure there is anything technical left that isn't closed. kolelt can you answer this?

I'm also game on a Rausch Creek visit.

Yeah, anything that is fun and challenging is closed of. It's basically fire trails. There is absolutely no hill climbs or rock crawls. If anything, it's mud and water. And basically exploration. Other than that. Nothing special. Good way to pass time.
 
Nj Parts Guy??

Hi,

I am looking for someone in New Jersey with a lot of 2nd & 4th Gen parts, also new friends to go wheeling with! Please respond if you know anyone stockpiled on parts!
 
I would start in the attison area which is in shamong, right across the street from the swimming area. I usually just drive around and see what i can find. There are many deep mud holes so if you see a hole don't try and go through it without checking the depth. (I learned the hard way). The mud holes are a mixture of sand and mud,s o if you get stuck it is very hard to get out. So definitely bring a recovery strap and someone else.

We are getting a group together for sunday as well. Planning on meeting up at 9am at the ranger station on 206 then headed out. More than welcome to tag along

Thank you! I'm not sure yet when I will be there but I would say around 11-12, hope will cross paths :).
A Facebook friend of mine is joining as well in his lifted excursion :wtf:

Any other places around besides warthon? I've heard of Rausch, but never been yet.
