Post your LIFTED pix here!

Finally finished installing my lift and new tires. Nfab rock sliders are ordered. Not sure what is next. Thinking about a magnaflow muffler and maybe a cold air intake...

Looks good NWA! I've asked several others this here to no avail so I'll run it by you as well. In the back of the front emblem there's the black plastic that's supposed to look "mesh-y" if that's a word. Did it cause you any trouble Plasti-dipping? Did you just spray right over all of it and peel off so it's only on the chrome? Or did you keep it over basically the whole oval?

Also, with this setup of Bilsteins at lowest setting and nothing in the rear, is any trimming up front required with the 285s? Or are you rub-free, at least in everyday driving?

EDIT: I missed the Toytec spring part. Are those the superflex? Still wondering about rubbing...

Thanks! -Mike

2012 Limited with 2.5" Daystar Lift and Nitto Terra's

I have been lurking around this site for quite some time and I figured it was finally time to pull the trigger on a lift. You all have inspired me! :bravo: I wanted something cheap and strictly for looks. I dont do any off roading, but I was tired of the front end sag, making my runner look like a soccer mom's SUV. I just got this Daystar 2.5" (Part # KT10934BK) lift installed today, along with some Nitto Terra Grappler 275/60/20's. I am very impressed with the looks and it drives like stock, if not better! The only issue that I have, is my tires rub at full lock in reverse only. I am going to have to come up with some sort of fender mod, I just dont know what yet. It rubs the front plastic liner where it is completely hollow behind that piece of plastic, so If I could somehow push that plastic piece in about 1" and make it stay, I would be golden! Here are a few pics of my newly lifted runner

My assumption is he has toytec #620 front springs on 5100's @ .85 lift resulting in about 3" total lift in the front.

The rear is probably just the superflex rears with 5100's.

Superwhite & NadelemO - Thanks for the comments!

On the emblem - I just sprayed the whole emblem and didn't worry about the black messy part behind. I didn't spray it real heavy, but I can still see the messy detail and can't tell there is any plasti-dip on it.

On the springs - They are Toytec/Eibach front coil lift springs and RCC2.0 ToyTec "Superflex" rear Coils.

And the Duratracs - They cleared everything by about a quarter inch when installed with the wheel at full turn and caster a 2 degrees. To keep them from rubbing on sharp turns I pushed the fender liner forward and did a small amount of trimming on the front of the fender. I cut the piece off with tin snips and filed it down with a dremel. I'm enclosing a pic.

Great, thanks for the close-up and instructions.

I just took a heat gun to the plastic and pushed it in with a hammer until it dried. Took me about 20 minutes per side to get it all pushed in so the tire would clear at full lock. I now have zero rubbing and couldn't be any happier!

Love the look of that lift on it. That's basically exactly what I am looking for, a basic suspension lift that's not too big or showy but still good. Is what you got basically this lift here plus the top and wheel spacers?

I'm new to the forum and just scratching the surface when it comes to knowledge about lifts. Any recommendations on just a basic low cost suspension lift would be appreciated. I've currently got a stock '11 TE that is my daily driver as well which is why I'm looking for something moderate.

That's close to the same lift but with that one you wouldn't use the extra top plate. Check out my build thread and lift. It's toward the end of my thread.

NICE! Anymore pics? I'd love to see a shot straight on from the front/rear.
