Quick question about AC pulley

I'm tearing down to do the timing belt right now and I have everything off except the AC belt and fan idler bracket, well besides the timing stuff. I'm following this guide 1995 3vze Timing belt removal and replacement "With Lots Of Pics" - Page 2 - YotaTech Forums. Has lots of good pictures, but the descriptions are lacking and a few steps missing. FSM isn't helping with this one either.

I removed the AC pulley adjustment bolt, but I can't get tension off the belt. Isn't the pulley supposed to slide over a bit to create slack? Any other way of getting this off? Should I just hit it with a hammer? I don't want to damage the pulley, but I'm getting frustrated. So close...

A/C idler pulley is only tensioned by that stupid
Bolt and nut that goes thru the bottom of the bracket.
If you crawl under and look at the bracket, you will
See that the pulley is in a curved slot. If the bolt is
Properly removed, a tap of a mallet will untension the
Pulley.

I did my timing last week and had the same problem. Just remove the bolt push the tesioner as much as you can. When I was putting the brand new belt it felt like belt was too small and i had to turn and force to pulley at the same time to get it on.

If you already did not remove all your belts try to loosen the crankshaft bolt before.
