Fantastic job on the wiring! I'm also doing the same on mine. It's a pain to remove the panel without having all of the connectors unplug from the pins. Also doing the Blue Sea fuse box with breaker to facilitate install of future accessories. One of my all time favorite builds and am glad to see it back! Keep up the good work!

The blue sea fuse box is awesome. I am so glad I added one to this truck, and especially before I started adding wiring modifications.

I took it apart and forgot to put it back together.

No really, I tore it all down to fix a bunch of maintenance stuff, then bought a cheap daily car for gas mileage...and I've just been driving the daily, and the 4runner is parked in the garage with the engine covered and a heap of parts tucked under the workbench.

Did you have any issues with the roofing material smelling in the interior after you applied it?

I'm looking at doing the same thing since it's so much cheaper than the name brand stuff.

Not at all, the only way you can even tell its there is because it is working.

What kind of power issues were you having with your previous build that made you decide to put the bigger alternator in? I plan on doing a cb/ham as well as a light bar and a wench in the future. Should I consider this upgrade as well?

I wasn't having any. I just didn't want to be limited in what I could do in the future.

Oh okay. So do you already have plans for things that would draw that much power or is it simply preventative?

Not necessarily, but the stock system at 85W is easily maxed out. Anything beyond a few lights and a winch at the same time and you have problems. And there's no way in hell the stock 85W can handle a hover car conversion.

Ahh well I might consider doing the same then. Must have the hover conversion cause where I'm going i don't need roads.

Really liked your last build. Can't wait to see what's in store for this one! Looking very clean! Like the idea of the cb antenna on the roof rack. Cb will be coming soon for me. Getting tired of the ashtray being crooked and rattling. Seems to be a good fix!
