BLACK, like it should be. Big thanks to Suprareal for supplying me with this normal black bezel! Thanks man.

I dinged it up a little while prying with the knife. Luckily I never stabbed myself. Nothing a little black fingernail polish won't fix!

But here's what I found when digging into my dash...

Looks good. My 97 had the same fake wood grain and i de-wooded it as well I was a little less careful then you were so i got a couple scratches. I still prefer a few scratches than the wood grain anyday.

Looks great man! I'm definitely not a fan of the wood grain either! I've got the black, but find the Sport Editions with the Silver bezels and grey dash look best...... :art:

Thanks for the compliments. 5 spd owners, what do you think about the caked grease above the transmission/tc? It almost looks as if it's coming up from where the shifter ball seats but I wasn't aware there was a seal there...
