Standard or Hi Rise Bottle Jack ?

Been awhile, but I decided on the 8-Ton Hi-Range USJACK.

They sent me the military version in 383 Military green color.

Usual color is Toyota red.

Collasped it's 11 inches and fully extended it's 23.5 inches.

That's the LandCruiserProducts (LCP) Jack Adapter on top, the USJACK and the Toyota Screw Jack both seem to have about the same diameter on the top disk (~1.5").

Safe Jack can make you a custom collar that tightens things up with Safe Jack accessories. They tell me you use their 12 ton accessories with both the USJACK 8-Ton Hi-Range and the USJACK 12-Ton Standard bottle jacks.

My only issue with the standard jack is the it is very unstable. Ive dropped the truck trying to break brake caliper bolt loose. Is this more stable also can you put in the same spot??

You want to use the bottle jack just to raise the 4Runner enough to put jack stands underneath.

The 8-Ton jack is larger than the standard Toyota screw jack. Don't think it would fit in the compartment, but one of the smaller bottle jacks might fit.

The screw jack is a good design for changing tires, although I'd pick up one of the accessories to engage the rear axle.
