THAT'S what that button does!

I got my 4Runner back in November, and only yesterday did I finally figure out that the button on the steering wheel below the radio source selector (or whatever it's called) lets me turn audio on and off, pause it, and basically do everything with my thumb that I could otherwise do on the touchscreen. I'm definitely not opposed to reading manuals but I like to try to figure out the user interface by experimentation or, preferably, by intuition. I'm slow, but I eventually get there.
