I used the Scorche radio install bezel made for the 4runner. unfortunately they only make it in silver so I will go back later and wrap it in carbon fiber vinyl to match the shifter console.

I also wired in a MAESTRO module behind the headunit so all my steering wheel controls work plus you can even program steering wheel buttons to do extra things. Like I programmed my back button on steering wheel if I hold it down for 3 seconds it will pop up on the headunit my Gauges creen. If I hold the next button for 3 seconds it will pop up my tire pressures screen.

It gives you the option to choose from like 20 or 30 types of gause to show on the screen from transmission temps and EGT temps to RPM or even show your 0-60 times or 1/4 mile times.

The other great feature is it lets me program all sorts of vehicle functions on the headunit screen like windows down with key, windows down with remote, doors lock when shifted into drive or into park unlock. Change the door lock beep functions etcc among other things.

I have the Kenwood DMX7704 with the iMaestro. How did you get your tire pressure read out to work? My local says that it cant be done. I get an error message that the headunit cannot communicate with the TPMS system.

What did you do for the GPS and Serius Antennas? Were you able to use the OEM sharkfin. If so, how did you get the piece that goes from Toyota ant to Serius tuner? I know I misspelled Serius.

It all worked flawlessly when I turned everything on the first time. Either that model radio doesnt support some things? or more likely they didnt wire it up or program it correctly. A couple things to check, first make sure they actually ran the 2 wires and plugged into your vehicle OBD port. Thats how the maestro gets all the information from the vehicle, also try flashing the software onto the maestro again, maybe they didnt do it right like choosing the right head unit and serial number when you flash it, it happens. You also have various options you can program like on your steering wheel buttons etc that you have to choose before you download the flash to the maestro.

As for the GPS and Sirius antennas, initially I used the one that came with the tuner. I found the factory antenna wouldn't work well at least for me. Plus I wanted to remove the sharkfin which was the perfect place to mount my marine grommet which will allow my wiring for lights etc to go thru the roof and be watertight. SO eliminated the sharkfin. I recently installed this TRAM sirius antenna on my roof rack I found on amazon, its for truck drivers usually to mount on their mirrors but I think it works well on the roof rack. Havnt' been able to tell yet if it is better or not.

speaking of the sirius antenna cabling, Im working on that today. I drilled the holes in the rubber grommet to run the antenna coax and a 6 wire cable for lights etc in the future. Pain in the ass to get the wire pushed thru but doable.

And this makes for a super clean waterproof way to run the wiring thru the roof. This is a marine wiring grommet I installed in place of the sharkfin antenna. It is used on yahts and ships to run wires thru the decks and be waterproof.

The 6 wire cable I got from work. Im a forklift mechanic (mainly electric) and this was an overmast cable I pulled off a truck. Perfect for use here I think. 6 large super flexible wires which will allow me to wire up my front light bar and leave 4 more wires for future lights and things already run.

got My Kings Yesterday!! Got em installed today and will have to go get the alignment redone. With the SPC upper arms I set the balljoints to 4 degrees caster right out of the gate and will adjust from there.

UPDATE....Did my first oil change this morning at 5000 miles and of course as everybody knows this is the STUPIDIST! oil filter system ever invented!! What a mess.

Before the next oil change I will be ordering the remote oil filter kit from bpadapters.com

been busy lately so havn't posted in a while, have various things to show.
But today I just installed the Oracle rock light kit which comes with 8 led rock lights and with the app on my phone I can change them to any color I want. For now just doing red.

I installed one light in each wheel well and then 2 on each side above the sliders. I got some simple L brackets at hardware store, cut one side off of them and mounted them using a bolt in the frame.

I like the bumper. You have to have nerves of steel to cut into the plastic like that. Be very careful that the powder coat guy knows what he is doing. I got a crap job on a wrangler. Powder coating is amazing, applied correctly, you cant get the stuff off with a grinder, air gets under it, it will flake off in sheets. Thats what happened to my bumper coating.

your powder coater took shortcuts then and didn't do it properly. The powder coaters I use here mostly do stuff for large commercial businesses and are extremely picky and professional. If they don't think its to their standard, they will strip it and start over before they even tell the customer lol

I have been making some lighting changes to the bumper and stuff. I will post pics soon

Sorry, have not been updating as much as I should. I got the front bumper powder coated, got the plastic trimmed and reinstalled, changed the light bar out for some PIAA amber led lights and all the little details done in front.

I ordered the C4 Fab rear swing out bumper which will be coming in January some time.

I also have a surprise for the interior coming in a couple weeks that will surprise some people lol Don't think I have seen anybody else do yet. Wait till you see it lol

1. Rear C4 Bumper on order
2. Change the roof LED light bar out for a KC Hilites 40" bar
3. Dual batteries installed soon hopefully
4. Interior work surprise coming soon
5. run some power wires to rear for some accessories switched off of the Switchpros panel

I know there is a bunch of other little details I can't remember right now, my brain is always working lol

I got a custom key fob case from AJT Designs. Its a little bit tuff job breaking open the factory key fob carefully to remove the tiny electronics and transfer them over. But once you do it is an awesome little upgrade lol

I got the Switch pro installed and I am slowly adding accessories to it and labeling the buttons. So half my buttons are still unlabeled

Then I got the SDHQ replacement toyota panel with the sutout for the switch pros panel already in it so its sits nice and flush. Looks good and almost factory.

I also installed my Yaesu FTM-400xdr Ham radio using a ram mount that I took apart and used half of it, drilled a hole in radio bezel and mounted it. Nice and solid and adjustable and clean. I like it

I also used a ram mount and an 17mm ball adapter to mount my wireless phone charger

My ham radio antenna I bought a Super gainer dual band antenna and a Diamond mount that folds over. That way when I want to I just turn a knob and lay the antenna down like going thru a car wash or something.

Way better than the stupid hings in the antenna itself that kept being picked up by the wind on the highway and laying back. I pulled the antenna up and shot some super glue into it so it would not come out anymore and Just use my hinged antenna mount to lay it over when I want.

Yea that gets into a whole can of worms discussion lol so i won't go into that too much. Growing up in Dallas I had guns stuck in my face by cops a couple times in my younger days that were completely uncalled for. So I know what you mean

Definitely don't mean to open a can of worms, it would have been more accurate for me to say I'm not used to any kind of open carry environment or people having hand guns for anything other than shooting people. I'm certainly not anti-cop, and the last thing I want to do is open up an internet gun rights discussion haha cheers!
