You are correct.
I didn't get the DRL module because I ordered mine months ago before the DRL module was available. My truck has the DRL circuit disabled, and I use my Fog Lights as DRLs.
...because I tinker too much.

I wish I had made a video of the install, but 2 things stopped me:
- There are plenty of install videos on YouTube
- My family was waiting on me to go do family things.
...and that was back in January when I had no aspirations of doing YouTube videos.

The install couldn't get much easier. The fact that our 4runners don't even have a dust cover for the high beam or anything just makes it that much easier.

I was gonna say, that sounds like some familiar music.
Good video. I had absolutely no intent to change my high beams but I guess I have to now after I swap out the bulbs in the lows.

For all who are interested after the video I replaced my lights with 4300k HID low beams and the XtremeLED high beams with DRL module. The new setup is choice and light output is dramatically improved!:frog:

...and we might be thinking of showing the difference of the 4300K Phillips versus the 5000K XDs in a video too... :snacker:
I purchased the HID for low beams and LED for high beam w/ DRL during the black friday sale and finally got them installed last weekend.
Huge difference, especially the HID. Can't believe how bright the HID are compared to the old ones.
My only issue is with the DRL LED flickering. Not very noticeable in the day and from far, but up close and in the dark it is noticeable. Should I have purchased the PWM to avoid the flickering?

No one drives with their DRL'S on at night so no one will ever notice the minor flickering.

Are you running the LED or HID lowbeams? What color temp?
