Weathertech mats and our gas pedal

The time has come for some new slush mats. Do the Weathertech mats interfere with the stck gas pedal at all?
I need to mention that I declined the hacksaw recall to retain what little pedal they ave us to begin with. Taking a hacksaw to your gas pedal to solve any related problem is probably the cheesiest move I have ever known Toyota to make. I love the truck and respect Toyota, but to actually hear a service rep tell me, "We cut a half inch off with a hacksaw" was ridiculous. They should have redesigned the pedal or something. Sorry for the rant.

Yah my gas pedal gets stuck all the time, thats why WeatherTech continues to make them and why there so popular on here...nothing gets the adrenaline pumping like an unintended acceleration.
 
I figured the Weathertechs were good to go. Yeah, the thought of unintended acceleration should be included with every car to keep you focused.
 
you can request the new pedal but they will have to order it for you. cant comment on the mats but the liners work fine for me.
 
I have the Weathertech digital mats (liners?) and an unmolested gas pedal. Never had any problems.

They swap out the exiting one and replace with a newer one with more clearance. I'm surprised they said that?

weathertech digital fits fit very nice, they even have a little cutout where the gas pedal is upon mashing it down

This BS has gone way to far in my opinion. This is typical of goverment and corporate BS with BS results! Their not going to touch my petal! They can put this recall right back where it came from.

Rant done, I feel better now...
 
I have the Weathertech mats (just installed a month ago, if that) and stock pedal....no sticking issues, and I've taken a couple of road trips with them already.
 
i got my weather tech floor mats about 3 weeks ago and i travel a lot. i have the stock pedal also. i haven't noticed any issues in mine. i drive about 100+ miles a day
 
No problems here with WT mats.

Had to fight off Toyota dealer who wanted to "adjust" my pedal.

"Dude! it's my vehicle, I choose what happens"

same here. plus, it has the 2 anchor point holes so you can anchor the WT mat down to the floor. Not only does it not interfere with the pedal, it also doesn't scoot forward either.
 
Just got mine on Saturday, they fit great and yes they do have the mounting holes to secure to the floor. Now if I could just get the bug/rock deflector rack to fit!
 
My petal got the hack job in Boston under the original owners recall. That being said, I would have never known about the hacksaw job if I didnt see it printed in the Toyota owners history report. I just received my Weathertech digital fit floor liners last week and see no fitment issues with the pedal, and like I said, no pedal problems whatsoever with or without the liners. The floor liners are a real nice addition and are full of mud already!
