What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

That photo makes the TRD look better than the official Toyota shots. I'm not digging the black bumper trim and the black cross bar with toyota spelled out though. It makes the front end look kind of featureless and "blah." The silver trim up front gives a nice look by making the front end look more complete.

Could not disagree with you more. The TRD version is the first time I've looked at a '14 front end and did not go :barf:

Got my 4Runner back from being mended, finally. Been at the dealership since Wednesday. New alternator was needed and apparently a new battery, the 820.02 + Tax was picked up by the warranty, but I was on the hook for the battery for 114.00. Not bad I suppose, but I certainly was not looking to replace anything at just 34k miles.

Also, got the V3 Triton LEDs 6K White/Amber Switchback from V-LEDs installed. Could not of been more simpler. They are super bright as others have stated.

My wife and I drove the 4Runner to a Jeep dealership today - relax, getting rid of the 4Runner isn't in the cards, looking for a weekend vehicle.

Got to the dealership, asked if they had any 2-door Rubicons. The salesman (he had his hair oiled, no shit!) waved at the direction of their fake rock pile where they had a lifted Sport posed next to a stripped 2-door - "Those are the only 2 doors we have on the lot." Then he stared at me.

No offer to look inside, no offer to order one or anything else. Those 2 were it, take it or leave it. We turned around and left....

Might drive into Houston next weekend...

I agree - my parents have a 4 door sport hard top, it's nice. Not a comfortable on the road though...

The ragtop and swb of the 2door Rubicon has some appeal as does the available manual transmission.

Dropped my starter fuse from the engine fuse box into the abyss. Had to take off my skid plate to finally recover it :tape:

Glad I found it before sunset, because I obviously couldn't drive the damn thing into the garage w/o a starter fuse :ybrick:

Did the rear diff-breather mod and mounted a Zippo Woodsman tool in the back with quick fists.

Not today but yesterday I changed out the front and rear brakes at 63K miles. Looks like I should have changed them a little sooner as the wear indicator on the rear was already hitting the rotors.
