What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

wookiecrisp,
C' mon wookie, you don't need any excuses to do either!

Ha! Yeah, yeah... Maybe after I install/try out the goodies I recently purchased. :tongue1: Sliders... Portable compressor... Deflaters... I just want to keep buying, LOL.

Bama!

Woke this mornin' and "Toro Rojo" wanted to run. The wife and I grabed some breakfast and pondered Santa Cruz or Alabama Hills. Bama won and we made the trek. First time there and it won't be the last. Found a nice empty spot and managed to get a great shot in front of Mt. Whitney.

Saker What was the purpose of changing out the rear lift supports? Are these supposed to be better?

I open my rear hatch quite a bit. I was not having any issues with the OEM ones, but I got ahead of any issues that have arisen with some in the past.
Yes, they are better, cost less, Lift Supports Depot 6156N10 Lift Support with Limited Lifetime Warranty and the ones I used are made in the USA.
Check out this link. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/93407-rear-liftgate-struts-blown.html

Installed an ARB awning last week and got around to hard mounting my portable Viair compressor yesterday and today.

Saw a fellow T4R 5th genner at Morris Furniture in Dayton OH yesterday afternoon and have been trying to find him on here. Thought I got his handle but apparently can't spell it right. If you see this, hit me up!

I added my Trail badges to the side of my TEP! I like how they came out.Image1459090223.841778.jpgImage1459090234.161912.jpg

Ran the in-laws from Vegas to the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff, back to the Grand Canyon and home to Vegas in 36 hrs... the truck never saw anything more than dirt parking lots, but we had a blast as it was their first time out West! I'm thinking the wifey owes me an off-road camping trip for sure now!

Finishing rear storage box. I'll use it for storing a folding chair, small table, stool, wooden shower mat, and rug.
