Woke this mornin' and "Toro Rojo" wanted to run. The wife and I grabed some breakfast and pondered Santa Cruz or Alabama Hills. Bama won and we made the trek. First time there and it won't be the last. Found a nice empty spot and managed to get a great shot in front of Mt. Whitney.

I open my rear hatch quite a bit. I was not having any issues with the OEM ones, but I got ahead of any issues that have arisen with some in the past.
Yes, they are better, cost less, Lift Supports Depot 6156N10 Lift Support with Limited Lifetime Warranty and the ones I used are made in the USA.

Ran the in-laws from Vegas to the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff, back to the Grand Canyon and home to Vegas in 36 hrs... the truck never saw anything more than dirt parking lots, but we had a blast as it was their first time out West! I'm thinking the wifey owes me an off-road camping trip for sure now!
