Received my Budbuilt sliders from the anniversary sale; off to the powdercoaters. Removed my Icom from my 80 series to use in the 4R. Lamented tire choices for about 45 minutes without actually buying any (Cooper ATPs or AT3s; 265 or 275??) but was able to see and touch lots of choices at the local Discount Tire.

Any other tips regarding installation? I've heard you should let them air out a day or two b/c of a slight chemical smell - thoughts on that? How do you like them?

If you can have an extra set of hands to help, it would make install faster. The backseats are definitely a lot easier to do as well, since you can flip them up and down to get the cover on snug and to click the straps together. I took out all floor mats too but that was to take off the plastic. Driver seat took me longer than anything else, but that's because I had to get the straps around my amp and it's wires which are under my driver seat.
They do have a smell, I personally wouldn't go so far as to call it chemical. Just smells like new rubber/neoprene. Smell doesn't bother me at all but I'm used to some pretty noxious smells for my job.
Fit and finish is outstanding. I'll get a few pictures on here in a minute, but they fit like a glove and look fantastic. They are very comfortable too. Overall, I'm very pleased with what I got for the money. I'm hoping they will stand up to wear and tear from my dog and son.
One of the things I was also very pleased about was they had holes already there to get the LATCH clips through for the car seat base.

I installed mine in about 45 minutes with the help of [MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] at his place. The easiest way to do the fronts and the fastest and best fit is to unbolt the seats and take them out. Don't be shy, it's four bolts underneath plastic covers and then one harness for the airbag and electric motors. Had them out and was able to tuck that side flap Logan has covering his seat switches in and route the straps underneath and around the motors and snapped together. Was way easier and not that scary to take apart, plus it gives it a clean, professional look. Can post a pic if you want of what it looks like.

[MENTION=84834]Logan714[/MENTION] I just grabbed a round edged bamboo spatula (yes one you would use in a wok) and easily tucked all of the neoprene behind the plastic trim. Took only a few minutes. I say bamboo because they usually have a thick, often more rounded edge at the tip, this will keep you from damaging the neoprene. You can tuck all of the neoprene under all of the other plastic components too, i.e. the cup holders, the seat release buttons on the back seats, the kiddie seat safety anchor points. They look like they are made to be there 
That said, I think you could do a fine job removing the seats just make sure, as mentioned, that you disconnect all the wiring harnesses.

Rear Cargo Carrier
Today I spent a couple of hours drilling and bolting the DeeZee utility chest to the aluminum cargo carrier I got off Craig's list for $75. I didn't want to get one of those expensive and mileage killing roof pods. I also bolted on one of those hitch silencers and it sure works great at locking everything tight. The rear hatch just clears the chest to allow access. After all was said and done, it came to around $400 to put it all together. I'm ready for our next long haul

Love my STMaxxs! Had them on about 2 weeks so far and they're great. I went stock size and they still rub a little. Gotta move the fender liner a bit.

I like those reflectors you put on the bottom of your tailgate, that's a good idea.

Continuing break in on the new gears, trying to get it done, oil changed, and skids re-mounted before the weekend to hit some trails. Haven't really got on the throttle yet, but even with 1/2 throttle, it gets going from a stop faster than it was with full throttle, before. Cruise control works. I can accelerate up hills in 4th gear, where it took 3rd gear just to maintain speed, before.

The only ones available (other than Toyota), Nitro 4.56, plus an ARB air locker for the front diff. Really liking the ARB locker, locks and unlocks almost instantly, compared to the stop, go really slow, turn left and right of the elocker rear.
