Headed to the turkey bay OHV area in land between the lakes. Great day.
Can't stop smashing the front skid plate, time for a beefier one I guess. The mesh over the vent is very cheap.
I continue to be amazed at how capable it is right from the showroom floor, the traction control systems and crawl control really are amazing.
Edit: soft stock tires took a beating, cuts all over and chunks missing. The outer tread blocks are rounded off. They won't make it to 25k miles.
This was hard to walk on, lots more lose rocks almost like they added tons:
Played around on the rocks for a while, sketchy with only my four year old spotting me from the back seat. Crawl control worked just like the demo video, being solo I went in just far enough to say I did. Pucker factor high.
Stock tires held up fine.

Hidden Falls in Central Texas. Got muddy for the first time (we had, like, actual rain last week!). Normally it's bone dry with dust as fine as baby powder. Smacked my bumper on something and split it open below the passenger fog light. Not terrible, but gotta do something. Trying to decide on a trail conversion or full plate bumper.
No pics of damage yet; too much mud and home too late to clean it.

Did you special order yours without the factory tinted windows in it? Can't recall seeing one with regular windows in the rear.

They're factory tinted. The bright sunlight coming in from the open back hatch is making the windows look lighter than they actually are.

I guess you are referring to the plastidip....
I put 3 coats on it, so we'll see.
I can always remove it and paint it now that I like the way it looks on the T4R!
