My dogs are solely raw fed. They have been for over eight years. This deer will feed them for a couple of weeks. I usually get a few deer that have been hit each year. They will eat every part. Nothing goes to waste.

Picked up road kill... yup. A friend texted to say he saw a fresh hit, free dog-food for a month. Dogs aren't picky when it comes to red meat. It's currently still in my back yard. I'll cut it into chunks later with a sawzall. No this is not for human consumption.

Deer get hit near my house occasionally, the last time a couple guys were there cleaning it and I am fairly confident they meant to eat it, not feed it to the dogs.

Not that I don't want to go to Acadia, but to me, it's really F'ing sad that there's a parking lot on top of a 1500' hill.

It's a special 1500' hill though. For several months out of the year it is the first US soil the sun shines on each morning. What about those that are handicapped?

I see what you're saying though. There are plenty of hiking trails to the top and people make the climb all the time. In fact, I need to get back there to say I've hiked it!

Drove my truck through the touchless car wash a week after the Cove trip. Figured I had to get some dirt off it before taking it in to have the alignment corrected. It's still nasty inside and out but i'll have to wait for a warm day to give it a proper cleaning.

I'm not a huge venison fan. But the dogs love it. When it's free food, who am I to argue? As far as someone consuming road kill, I don't think I could do it.

Ditto on the washing. I think I threw a wheel weight as I now have a vibration in the front. Alignment seems okay though.
