A failed first attempt at making drawers for my cargo box. Hats off to folks who have the carpentry skill, cause I doesn't.


Then my spirits rose when UPS showed up with my Gobi ladder.





And heavy duty tailgate shocks ...glad I ordered these, the stock shocks sucked with the ladder weight.




And Amazon brought some of the goodies I ordered for the cargo box.





Now it's time to relax.

Watched the snow pile up and a Corvette try and drive through it.

Yep, passed so many cars in the ditch on the way to work. On the way home it was car after car high centered on side roads. Never had any issues with traction, had about 16" at my house, had to bust through a few snow banks.

Honestly I would prefer to be warm and dry on the couch if I'm not skiing.

did this a few weeks back, if it's not too late check partznet.com, they have the loop (51095-60030) for $72.72 and 2 bolts (91642-81235) for $3.52. i think all in it's about $90

Now you tell me! That's a good price. About half what I paid, $139.

And you have washers on those shackles. Nice. Do the shackles rotate in the frame loop? If not it puts a weird tweak on the whole assembly. I might turn them around if I can get the bridle to work on the pin of the shackle.

Post pictures of where you mount your tie town rails. I have had those on my Amazon list for months. Trying to wait until I have time to work on the truck to order them. Also what are the plans for the quick fists.

I drill a hole and reinstall the proximity sensors.
Btw, I got the Limited sides and rear bumper fs if you're interested.

I would be interested, however I haven't budgeted for anything since I've only had it about 2 months. All I had planned on doing for the first couple years was the HIDs and LED turn signals. Was just too good to pass up on the bumper swap since we both were needing the other and were so close.

started my sPOD install in lower part of the center console stack.

first dremeled the back of the cubby:

installed sPOD contura switch panel:

test fitted panel in the 4R. unfortunately the top of switches was visible:

borrowed a solution from Equipt's Paul May 4Runner build & whittled some plastic to make a cover:

next day off I'll mount the source box & finish it up.

[MENTION=99965]m(a)ce[/MENTION] great work with the sPOD installation. Looks incredibly clean, especially the finishing touches with the additional plastic. Im planning to run my switches in the exact location and I have a couple questions before I do so.

1.) Did you have to glue the switches or bezel to secure it into place?
2.) What thread did you follow to add that little plastic piece to cover the switch panel/where did you find that piece of plastic (a solution from Equipt's Paul May 4Runner build)?
3.) Would you do anything differently now that you know what you know?

I picked up the Quick Fists far a great price and they always come in handy. I used the minis for my Firestick antenna.
