Extended rear diff breather line to engine compartment. Bunch of zip ties, a little heat resistant sleeve in engine compartment and some 2x sided 3M 30lb sticky tape to hold the manifold on the side of my Shrockworks washer bottle.

I wouldn't check these off your list just yet. They do get great reviews in the rain, I honestly think the issue is me. For one, I have a heavy foot. That coupled with the fact my pressures may be wrong is likely the issue. THis coming week I will be adjusting tire pressure front and rear and I expect to improve wet weather traction. Literally no one else agreed when I asked if they had issues in the rain so like I said, I think the issue is me. They're a great looking tire, very quiet for how aggressive they are, good ride quality. Better ride quality than my 285 KO2's that I had on the truck for the first 5K miles or so and both are E rated. The only thing I will tell you is they are heavy tires. My 295/70/17 weigh about 65 pounds each. In the future I do intend to go up to a 305 or 315 but not for a little while. I get bored quickly but these don't even have 1000 miles on them yet lol. Nothing will likely happen until spring or summer unless I come across someone looking to make a trade.

Thanks, i wont cross them off the list. I am struggling with the issue that most everyone who goes upto 285’s get wider wheels like 8.5 or 9” wheels. I would like to use the trail wheels for offroad and winter but with the backspacing it looks like the 285’s will rub to much on uca’s and body mount. I dont like the idea of running spacers, so i might have to upragade wheels and use the trail wheels in summer. Taking the runner to the dealer today for 20k service and have the back seat softtex checked out, it keeps coming undone underneath where it hooks into the metal bars, it seems to roll out off the bars 2-3 times a week. Very anoying. Hopefully can be fixed or warrantied.

So, to make them be in the correct orientation (for PC) you simply right click the pic in the file, select edit, it'll open in Paint, select save, and then resubmit it to the site. It'll be in the correct orientation after that. Additionally, you can highlight a whole bunch of pics, right click, select edit, and it'll open all of them one by one, then you just click save, close, til you're all done......

Anyways....... What's the switch for? Those only work when the key is in and turned to a position anyways, right? Mine do.... :noidea:

I'm using my phone to post, but I'll definitely try to figure this thing out. Looks crappy posted sideways...

The switch has a constant 12v supply to it, so the 12v outlet can be turned on without having the vehicle on. Charging a phone overnight while I camp, running a small fan, etc. without having the car in ACC mode.

This ******* hit my 4Runner and punched my driver’s side window when I confronted him about it. He was drunk. Happened at KFC Yum Center following a concert this evening.

I called the cops on him when we crossed paths on I64 and I could give a location. The damage was 3 small scratches and I had a 3.5hr drive ahead of me, so I wasn’t about to hang around for said police report.

Added a wind fairing to my k9 rack to cut down on noise when the sunroof is open. This is the 40”. I may try the 48” to see if i like it better. I’ll probably remove the logo sticker as well.

As for the noise, it really works to cut it down.

Spent the last few days in Big Bend National Park. Drove Old Ore Road (south to north) and Glenn Springs to Pine Canyon to Black Gap to River Road (north to south). Tons of fun and my 4Runner handled it all like a champ.

Looks like you mounted your recovery pads to the stock crossbars. Is that correct.

Yes. And here's how:

I used four Yakima Universal Mighty Mounts to clamp to the factory "aero" crossbars. I replaced the short bolts that come with the Mighty Mount with longer lag bolts from Home Depot. The bolts go through the mounting holes in the traction boards. I secured the boards using a metal strap and wing nut also found at Home Depot. Finally, I put a pin through the bolt just for added insurance against the wing nut vibrating loose (it didn't budge the entire trip, so the pin is probably over-kill). The traction boards are X-Bull boards bought on eBay for about $80.
