Finally got my Awning mounted up. It hangs a little lower/farther out then I'd like but it works.
Also got my ditch lights installed
And got my Scangauge temporarily mounted....even got some pretty new dash lights to go with it!

Jack and I went out to the Allegheny National Forest outside Tidioute. Drove back one of the trails, found a spot to park, cooked up some chili and chilled out in the back of the 4runner. We walked around the area for a bit and then watched a couple TV shows on my tablet and settled in for the night.

Got the ARB CKMA12 compressor mounted up tonight. I'm planning on a dual battery setup soon so that's why I put it where I did. Had to swing by Toyota to grab a seal and some o-rings and asked if my gear guy was there and they said he was camping for the week- WTF? He never said anything about it. I'm thinking I'll be getting newly re-geared diffs back this week and he's out flippin camping. Oh well, at least the compressor worked on the first shot.

Summary for the last week:
> Received the title in the mail. Bought the truck in Nov. 2014 and paid it off last week.
> Got my Blackstone oil analysis report, which said "Wear metals are in great shape. Universal averages show typical wear levels for this type of engine after about 5,700 miles on the oil. This oil saw less use than that, so it's great to see wear metals so low. The viscosity is in the 5W/30 range and there are no oil or air filtration concerns here. Looks like a nice engine at 116,114 miles."
> Fixed radio reception issue with the new Kenwood HU. During installation, don't ignore the two blue wires marked "Power Antenna" or some such. The labels imply they have something to do with a retractable power antenna (or maybe that was just the assumption by my old-school mind) but they are in fact essential to proper reception. Would love to know more about what those wires do if anyone knows.

If you're in metro Atlanta and haven't been there in a while, it's been expanded and the facilities dramatically improved (see banner pic here.). Just a terrific place to ride a mountain bike. Thanks to IMBA and the Woodstock chapter of the Southern Off-Road Biking Assn. (SORBA). Which reminds me, I need to re-up with SORBA.

These are ideal for two reasons: the simple black edge was all I was looking for, and I got them for a buck each on clearance.

I think those power antenna wires usually trigger a power retractable antenna. On the 4runner with integrated antenna, it activates a powered antenna amplifier, which improves signal.

what hardware? the calipers come with everything basically and I just wire wheeled the bolts that hold the calipers on the truck and anti seized the hell out of them. otherwise its pretty much a direct swap.
