its very cost effective, but I am not a fan of mine. Because the material and backing is so thin it will start to distort and twist up. If I can stop dumping money in the t4r I could save up for the Larue covert bag.

Plus one for anything Larue. I have one of their roll up bags for a tOBR and I have taken it through hell and back hiking hunting and shooting. Still holding up great. If it does fail I have no doubt Mark Larue will make it right

My basic EDC
Glock 21 3rd gen
Versa Carry "holster" with trigger shield removed. MIC kydex trigger guard with lanyard to attach it to my belt so it disengages after I pull my firearm. Extra mag.
SOG mini X-ray knife. Well loved. About time to drive up there and have them put a new blade on it.
Fenix E20 flashlight. 260 lumen max and AA batteries.
Leatherman Blast, not that great, broken slotted screw driver pliers out of alignment and snapped micro screwdriver. I'm hard on equipment. [emoji22]. Thinking of replacing that with a Swiss army multi tool.

Well I carry a full size. Canik tp9sa with a clip draw universal pocket clip but it's heavy and vulgar looking ...lol. also the guys gonna trade for my old smith and Wesson sigma 40. So it's kinda worth more than mine also

My carry for the last couple years has been a Ruger commander size 1911 in either a Crossbreed super tuck or leather OWB holster.
Just last week I picked up a XDs .45 3.3" haven't even shot it but plan for it to be my new EDC. Much lighter than the 1911.

I hear ya lol will love the xds mine shoots like a dream not as well as I shoot my 1911 albeit but for its size and purpose will never let you down. I've had those talon sandpaper feel grips on since December carry it everyday from cutting grass to normal days and have been greatly surprised haven't peeled up or come loose once would recommend have the rubberized grips too if don't like the rough feel . At first didn't think I would like them felt like it changed the whole feel of my gun so figured why not and took blunt end of pair of tweezers that fit perfectly between the grip spaces and worked the grips down into them and worked perfect made it feel normal again. Here's a before and some after.

There is a guy here in the Bellevue Washington area the modifies non slim frame flocks by filling the gap in the grip, behind the magazine, with epoxy. He then shaves it down to the same grip profile as a 1911, and puts a spray texture on it. The texture is the coolest part. It has micro pieces of stone in it so unlike a lot of grip tapes and such it doesn't ware out. I can't afford it but after handling his I want to try to afford it.
