When hiking/outdoors I carry this. Para P14, surefire flashlight bag I sewed straps on and made a holster fit well in it. Also holds 3 mags, fire starting materials, fixed blade, folding saw, compare, map if needed. Plus lots of other stuff. Way more comfortable than AIWB for me. Just would probably scare the crap out of the locals if I walked around with a kit bag strapped to my chest. Can't wait to move

It seemed to be just empowering the abc agency's. That in and of it self scars the crap out of me. I know except in cases of marshal law the military is not supposed to be used on US soil. But I would rather have a solider maintaining law and order than someone from the DOE (education, ecology), library is armed now, TSA, DOA, virtually all of them have been armed to some extent. So I don't know what to be more scared of. Screw it I'm just going to put my tinfoil hat on and carry on with life.

One thing a lot of people DO NOT include as part of their EDC and they absolutely should- is an IFAK.
If you don't have one or two already, I would urge you to purchase them, they are cheap and PLEASE learn to use them.
I use mine almost once a month, usually while hiking finding someone who has hurt themselves and can benefit from a bit of care.

Lucky for me being a medic trauma supplies are always with me lol but for the ones looking for ready built kit [MENTION=122184]Gunslinger-13[/MENTION] is absolutely correct at least keep in 4Runner and attach to pack if away from it. Probably many places to get them I'm a Amazon fan easy to get etc...

A sharpie is another good thing to have. Write times done if really bad wound, leave a note to where off trail you have gone to help someone. Ect. I have a fak in my ruck and a basic IFAK on the outside of it as well.

Rare I "carry small" but when I need to...442 no-lock, LG-405, Apex duty/carry kit, stoked with Gold Dots. I'll never claim to be a 'Smith but I can manage my way around J-frame springs and 'clean-up' without creating a "Bubba." This snub is smooth and proven to the nth degree.

Ah a guns thread - the best type of thread for a new member to a forum.
My EDC will change depending on what I've been practicing with the most. I exclusively pocket carry, I'm a chubby dude and IWB holsters just don't work for me.
I rotate between:
Glock 42
Sig p238
Charter arms Undercover .38spl
I know the charter wheel gun falls under the "saturday night special" category, but I bought it on a whim and I'm in fact a huge fan of it. It doesn't have any cylinder play, and it's perfectly aligned. I've put plenty of rounds through it to trust it, and I do like a .38spl +p over a .380 sometimes.
In my T4R I keep a Walther PPK in the center console. I just realized how many .380s I have ...
