4Runner of the Month

That is easily in the top 3 of best looking 4th gen I have seen on this site. I love the graphite limited wheels and clean look with the BFG's. Nice job. You get my vote for 4ROTM.

Where did you get the graphite powdercoating done and how much to do?

$85 a wheel. A bit expensive, but it was a custom color in order to match to the running boards and roof rack.

That's it...been thinking of getting the Daystar 2.5/1.5 for the longest time, time to jump on it.

Wow...yours a Sport, I thought it was a Limited from the beginning. Love everything about it. You even have OEM Nav. I think you & J.A. are thee only members that have OEM Navi on a Sport.

Great job in tinting to match, shaving the emblems, getting the matching grill & ELIMINATED the front V8 emblem...that's what I would do, keep it clean.

Too bad you're not local...I would be very interested in your Sport wheels.

One last thing...great photography skills. Lots of members here always throw everything in the middle of the frame.

I'm going to add you on my Buddy List.

Hey, if you get 4ROTM I want a shout out for providing the wheels! They look good, glad to see they found a good home. I like my FJ wheels for what I got them for, a little wider stance and cheaper tires.

Absolutly perfect! This is what I want to do with my rig. I have the stocker 18" wheels so I am guessing it will look a bit different. Do you have X-reas? My head hurts reading Cornfed/daystar/toytec....what the hell is the difference between all these???? Again your truck gets my vote for T4ROTM!

I don't know the specific differences, but I just surfed this site for other peoples ride heights and tire combo's I liked. I thought the Daystar 2.5/1.5 was a perfect look of aggresivness/practicallity. And for $159 bucks, why not?

I also am using the same wheels you have on your truck now, just that I powdercoated them a different color.

I was referring to the Tires, not rims...sorry for the confusion. No squeeks or rattles? And does it still drive the same as if you left it stock? I know the BFG have more road noise also so I guess thats a bit different. And after I finally saw a dark grey runner without the rear badges I went out last night at 1:30 am (couldnt sleep) and took mine off. So much nicer without them. Thanks for the info.

Love the powder coat color of your rims. Reminds me of the color of the TRD rims that FJC has. Had it not been "06" or the orignal pic of the 4R, I would've though it was an Urban Runner.

I was just wondering if you could tell me where you got your lift, and the kit or part number of it? Cause i was looking at them at 4wheelparts and wasnt sure as to which Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit that you have.
