06 Sport with Daystar Lift

This is one of the best looking 4Runners I have seen..

Wonderful pictures...especially the one with the sunlight beams streaking thorugh the pine trees to highlight the vehicle. In addition powdercoating your rims to match the steps and roof rack finish was a fasinating idea. It works perfect with your exterior color.

By the way what is a Whistler mod?

Your truck looks great. I'm considering a lift, but with 75k on the runner, might be time to do a full coilover lift instead of spacers.

HOJeepster's Daystar Spacer Lift is the "Easy Install" Topout Spacer Only.

I have the Preload/Topout...I like the Topout ONLY, but on his kit, I don't like the Stud Extensions.

Either kit...you'll have 2.5/1.5, it'll still have a tiny rake.

To remove it all together, you need 3/1 Cornfed.

But trust me, after 2months of having a Spacer Lift, I outgrew it.

Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake...do it right the first time.

Research, save up & do it correctly. When I have money saved up, it will either be Icons or Radflos Coilovers.

It's interesting because some of the t4r's i see on here with the 2.5/1/5 look like they have a good bit of rake but HOJeepster's looks perfect to me and looks like the exact amount of rake and height i want.

although i agree with KC, since u dont offroad (want 20s in wheel size) & like the stock ride, spacers will be fine for ur needs.

SO TRUEEE! i have had my toytec spacer lift for about 5 months now and its so blah... i mean yea it lifts it and yea it looks good but its a little rougher and thinkin about it u just spend 200 bucks and make your 4runner rougher.... if and when i get my new one i am going with toytec ultimate or radflos.

4Runner8- Did the 3 inch toytec lift level it out pretty well. And I looked at your build thread but couldn't find before and after measurements, but i could be overlooking them. The decision is between the daystar 2.5/1.5 and the toytec 3".

no i dont have measurements but i know it sits almost the same as the daystar.... just to clear it up the toytec is 3'' up front and 1.5'' in the rear. it comes with the top out spacer as well. i like it and its not bad. def worth the money and u can run 285's with spidertrax. i only have 265's cause thats what i put on before i lifted it. toytec is very helpful and you can talk to a tech person easily. as for installation... do u plan on doing it yourself? if so i would probably say get teh daystar as it is top out and the toytec requires a spring compressor. but other then that i love it and will leave it on b/c it really makes your 4runner stand out from the grocery getters. but as for my next runner im goin with coil overs for sure.

Will you tell me which 3 inch lift you got, I am looking on the website and there seems to be two.
