2008 Limited V8 (STOCK) w/ 265/65/R18's?

My Michelin Lattitude HP's are getting very close to retirement at 64,900 miles. They have done a great job, probably close to 100 snow days in the mountains, lots of 5200lb boat trailer towing, and 2 cross country trips pulling a 5200 lb boat trailer.

My local tire guy has a set of GY Fortera Triple Tread 265/65/R18's in stock that he can sell me for a great deal. Any idea if I am going to get any rubbing? Keep in mind this is on the 18" limited wheel. I am not opposed to getting some beefier springs or struts if I need to.

you will not rub at all. Stock's are 265/60/18, so you are only going up one size on the sidewall. Your footprint will be the same, therefore, your mpg difference will be negligible. Your speedo will read 3.4% slow, so if it says 60mph, you are actually going 62.1mph. Car will be 0.5 in taller.

Tons of people on here are running 265/70/17, which is the same size as the 265/65/18, at stock height with no issues. However, be advised that you could lose some gas mileage, maybe .5-1mpg. You may not, but most report a small drop when switching over to that size.
