*PICS ON PAGE 2*

Took 2 months (long story, I'll share later), but it came in this morning! I'm am so excited I can't see straight.

Dealer is putting on the FJ wheels this afternoon (I wanted the darker finish) and we pick it up tomorrow.

4 miles on it right now. Magnetic Gray with Entune and KDSS.

Already have the Toyota mat for the slide out tray, the Pilot stubby antenna, my 2013 Weatherbeater mats came today, Nitto Terra Grapplers will be here Monday. Just waiting on my Schrokworks sliders to arrive, and then the clear bra goes on 2/26.

I'll have a full thread with the story of the purchase once I get it and have some pics.

Can't wait until tomorrow!

You have had a good last couple of weeks. Tyrone is finally at his new home and the 5th has arrived. Wow, if you start modding the 5th like you did Tyrone we better look out.

Thanks buddy! Yes it has all come together.

Tyrone is in very good hands in Alabama, and "02-Sport" bought my 2000 Sport and probably treats it even better than I did!

My 2000 Sport SR5 was so damn reliable..... Miss it but loving the 2012...
 
Congrats on your new TE!

Out of curiosity, did you ever look into the offset difference (if any) between the TE wheels and the FJ wheels? I could've sworn I read something on here about how the offset is slightly different, but am honestly not positive at all.

Just some food for thought while you count the seconds down until tomorrow :driving:

Edit: Sorry about the wrong information regarding the offsets...I hate to be that guy mindlessly posting incorrect information, so I thought I would update this post.

I did some more searching and it seems like I misread that other thread, the FJ rims are the same exact offset as the TE rims, my apologies.

Ever since I saw the new FJ wheels I've thought they'd look really nice on a Mag Grey TE. Can't wait to see it.

No worries friend. From all of my research (and as you said too) the only difference is the color.
 
Well, I couldn't pick it up Saturday because I couldn't get off work earlier enough so we got it this evening. I AM IN LOVE! A few quick pics! More to follow when I clean it up and detail it. I told them only to wash it, no tire dressing, no dealer decals/tags. So here it is!

Left it in the wash bay for me all weekend. Here is where it was when we walked in:

Test drive as we checked it out: Noticed the darker FJ wheels I had put on it.

Loving it so far! Funny thing is it came with Bridgestone Dueler H/T's instead of Dunlops. These are the tires that came on it, they broke down the tires/ wheels when they swapped them with the FJ. Every Trail and FJ out there had Dunlops except ours. Strange. Thanks for all of the excellent information on here! More to come!
