2014 Limited JBL issues...

Everytime I start the truck, the audio system reboots. Toyota logo, warning screen, etc. Sometimes this is a fast boot process, sometimes it's slow. The real issue is that it seems to rescan my USB drive which takes forever. I'm stuck on the same song everytime until the scan is complete. Is there any fix for this? I've asked for software updates, but they say none are available.

IDK what version of the entune firmware that you have but there is definitely a vers. that will fix your loading issue! Here's a thread that may be helpful to you: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/206008-new-version-entune-available.html After you've read the entune post I'd find a new dealership that's willing to go out of their way and give you the operating system that works in the 2014 4R!

Thanks. Mine is a 2014. After reading that thread, it appears that update is for 2011-2013. Can you confirm its for 2014?

The link listed may be the same as the TSB I mentioned in the post. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/210600-lost-radio-control-anyone-else-have-happen.html Since this TSB was completed on my 2014 I have not had any more problems. The dealer did the TSB at no cost to me.

No I can't; I'm not sure what version worked in the'14 but those guys got their navi's fixed as well as the rest of us! Let's get one of the experts on board e.g., [MENTION=103267]Saker[/MENTION]... cheers!

Look at the following thread, it may help or maybe not, depending on what HU you have.
You can see my last post in that thread and a update just came out a few months ago (as I was informed by the Tech) and I just got the software update last week.
I have a 2014 SR5 Premium (non-JBL system).
These HU's have been plagued with issues.

Thanks gentlemen. Do you think the problem I described will be solved with the Entune update? I haven't seen my specific problem in other threads.
