2014 Trail Rocker Trim

No end caps? Other than the rust on the shrocksworks piece, isn't that they advantage of OEM?

My bushwackers covers the front endcap so no need.

Same here....that bothered me for all of a day or two. Only way I'll do anything about it is if I ever do trail bumpers & flares, which is pretty doubtful.

I have read and re read this thread, one final question: I have a 2016 limited, with the front mud flap/splash guards. So if I get get the TE black rocker panels and end caps, they will fit nicely as a replacement for the limited rockers? I have no idea what the door flares are for.

Just yesterday I replaced the rocker trim on my 2015 limited with the slimmer SR5/Trail version and I'm very happy with the results. Front mud flaps for the LE do not work. The door flares just clean up and complete the look. Though, as a lot have said, they're not necessary and you might just get used to the way they look. I'll go snap a pic so you can see the "after".

Not to worry I felt the exact same way as you did when I made the conversion or should I say the transition to both a Limited and a Trail. I am still collecting pieces for the front end conversion and that has me more stressed out.

Here is a list of what I used. I currently had the mudguards and wanted them after I changed out the rocker so I ordered them as well. I went with the replacement oem parts instead of the shrockworks trim because I wanted to be able to use factory mudguards and I wanted a finished look even with the doors open.

2014 front trim covers

• 75857-35010
• 75858-35010

10-13 Rocker panels

• 75806-35100
• 75805-35130

The 2014 SR5/trail front Mudguards part numbers are:

• 76621-35150
• 76622-35150

To get the back flare of the rocker to line up with the door trim you will need to get the rear door trim pieces for the 2014 trail/sr5. I did not get them at this point to save money. They come smooth and would need to be painted to match.

The trim covers were introduced in 2014 so that the fender flares on the SR5 front wheel well would blend into the more streamlined trail rocker panel. I believe they also started using the same fender flares on both the SR5 and trail. I think the rocker panel part number on 2014 trail and SR5 is the same as the one I have listed.

I threw on the TE rockers on my 2016 LE this weekend and couldn't be more thrilled. Just want to thank IronManKansas, bwright, AnthonyMV and everyone on here. Ordering the right parts and installing was just too easy, thanks to this forum!

Nice. I wanted to do this but the price to thip those mouldings was just ridiculous.

I ended up just cutting mine down. I'm pretty happy with it and it didn't cost me anything.

This was one of my first mods on my truck. If I could go back again I would have saved my money and just removed my rockers and left everything bare. Rock sliders cover up most of it.

I just finished putting the Trail rockers on my LE this afternoon. really like the look. The bit of overhang by the rear door does not bother me one bit. I purchased mine from McGeorge Toyota Parts for several hundred less than my local stealership wanted. Actually I really like my local dealer but they will not bargain or price match on parts.
Mine looks just like UncleBoobers except I have a ham radio antenna on the hatch.
