I’m at about 2.5 lift front and 1.5 or 2 for the rear. Currently running the pro wheels but switching to the scs f5 -38 offset. If I keep my current ko2 in 275 I’m think I should be good to without rubbing thoughts?

I just put those wheels on mine with the stock tires and no lift (long story, the lift is coming later on when I'm done doing a bazillion highway miles over the next month, but had to buy the wheels while they were available from SCS). I had to remove the front fenders and move the front fender liners forward and trim the plastic to get it to fit. I also did a BMC but didn't test fit it beforehand so I don't know if it was necessary.

I just had 255 Duratracs installed yesterday, but they gouged up the TRD/OR rims with the machine. Boo! They are buying me four new rims though. Yea!
They will get me new OR rims or I can choose four new aftermarket rims if I want. I am thinking the Motegi MR150's. 17x8.5 0 offset and under 25 lbs.

Want to swap my 20 limited wheels for 17s. Narrowed it down to 8.5 wide, SCSs vs RRW vs Methods, but still torn between 0 offset up to -12.
Plan on 275/70 BFG AT KO2s.
Getting a front lift to level it (can do more if needed but not trying to get huge).
Really don't want to have to trim anything, and kinda want mudflaps.
Any advise on the offsets is MUCH appreciated.

For what it's worth, I actually rubbed like crazy with SCS wheels and 265/70R17 tires (Falken AT3W Wildpeaks which are known for being a very large 32" true to size tire) on my 2016. Had to pull my front mud flaps, heat gun the fender liner and actually trim the bumper cover a bit with a Dremel tool.

The reason I wanted to mention that though is there is a high probability with that offset that you will rub with 275/70R17. From everything I've seen, lift or otherwise usually doesn't matter with these trucks.

Big thanks to Vin [MENTION=88453]SCSPerformance[/MENTION] for selling me this set of SCS Stealth 6 in Matte Black w/ Machined Lip. They came off one of his personal vehicles. 17" x 8.5" and in overall good condition. Will post more pics once they're on my rig.

Pretty certain your wheels are 18x9.0

Hi, new here. Just picked up a set of used TRD pro wheels that didn't come with the tpms sensors. Can I use aftermarket sensors, or do they have to be oem?
Also I have a brand new set of Replika R213 (pro replica) 17x8 +5mm offset I was going to use before I found the oem TRD pro wheels. Would the oem 265/70/17 tire size fit? Would they rub? what would be the optimal tire size for it not to rub? I was going to use them for winter rims. I have a 2020 Limited these wheels would be going on.

Can you re-use the sensors from the stock wheels? That’s what I did when switching from ORP rims to TRD Pro rims

The stock wheel are going on the wifes 4runner so the tpms are staying with that set.

You should be able to use Denso 550-0103 in place of the Toyota OEM sensors (they are the OEM for the 4runner sensors anyways). You can get them for 32.99 each from Rock Auto. I used them on my 2019 and had no problem programming them to my ECU.

The stock wheel are going on the wifes 4runner so the tpms are staying with that set.

Looks like I can choose an offset of 1 or -12. Which one will work better? I like an aggressive stance, but I don't want the wheels sticking out too much like a roller skate.

I'm looking at the Bilstein 5100 lift kit from Toytec with 285/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Thanks!

I went with the +1 as it was the least offset that I could get (vs. ET20) on the 20" wheel size. According to Fuel's site, the other wheel diameters have more options for negative offset.

Normally I probably would've went for the -12, but so far I've been quite happy with my results. Looks good, drives well, and with the proper alignment (maxed caster), no rubbing or need for a BM chop for tires that measure out to be 33.5" true.

Thanks for the replies! I'm planning to upgrade my UCAs along with the Bilstein 5100 lift install, so I hope that allows me to get the proper alignment. I don't want to get into a BM chop. Does the +1 offset stick out past the fenders? Do you think the -12 would extend far beyond the fender?

I would say that they are about perfectly even with the fenders. Knowing this I would say the -12 will likely push it past the fender especially with a tire wider than the 275/60R20's that I use. I did need to move/trim the front of the wheel liner and bumper a little bit with my setup, but my biggest goal was to not BM chop! I would assume a more negative wheel will add arc sweep and possibly give you BM issues (I can't say for sure...) and add to required trimming.
