Great! Meeting on the 8th (Saturday) is at 11:00 at rosa's in Fort Worth. The meeting on the 13th (Thursday) is 7:00 which is our standard monthly meeting time. Let me know if that clears things up.

Thank you, My questions were answered. I will not be able to make it on the 8th as I will be @ the OHV park, but I"ll be there on the 13th @ 7pm.

Looks like the forecast has gotten better (but a little cooler) - 30% today.

I'm still planning to attend. 30% chance of rain is a nuisance rather than an impediment.

I posted here and would encourage anyone else to do the same

In order to get my 4Runner ready for Gilmer in April, I'm planning on buying some rock sliders in the next week or two. That will allow for 3-4 weeks for production and shipping, a weekend for painting and a weekend for installing/welding, plus a couple of weeks for wiggle room. I'm wondering if any of you have any welder recommendations (and what kind of price can I expect to pay?). I live in Plano and would prefer to stay somewhat close by. Or, if any of you has welding equipment and would be willing to install them with/for me sometime around April 19 or 26th, that would be cool too.

This weekend, I'll be finishing off the install of my radio and CB. I'm also doing the Tacoma Whip mod/swap while I'm at it. If anyone is interested in helping/hanging out, just shoot me a PM.

On a different note, my wife broke the screen of her phone and in order to repair it, I need a heat gun to remove the existing face. So if anyone has a heat gun I could borrow until I get that fixed (probably middle of next week), that would be awesome.
 
If you live anywhere near a Harbor Freight, I'd pick up a heat gun there. They have a roughly $12-15 one that I find comes in handy more often than I expected.

Omar it was good meeting you, well kind of meeting you. We never actually got to shake hands but I do appreciate your energy! Looking forward to wheeling with you soon.
 
Who all is going to Gilmer this weekend for the Lone Star Jamboree? When do you plan on leaving? Maybe we can setup a convoy.

I'm leaving Plano around 6am on Friday. I'll have my CB on 21 along with [MENTION=99406]yotantexas[/MENTION].
